Looks fantastic, I wonder who that is in the skull mask.

He honestly looked like a cross between Scarecrow and Bane or Arkham Asylum and Arkham City Scarecrow.

Can't wait for this episode, more BC awesomeness! Well from that promo it looks like Ollie recognises BC.

I agree that he looked like a cross between Bane and Scarecrow, with a little bit of Black Mask thrown in. Yes, more Summer Glau, she's always fun. Oliver, I know that you've made it your mission to sleep with every female character that isn't a family member, too young, or too old, but please resist the urge to go after Summer, it won't end well.

it's funny. brother blood was a cult leader or something in the comics who brainwashed some of the titans. i wonder what they'll do with him.

second mention of the particle accelerator on the tv within the show. Gee. i wonder how the flash is going to get his powers...

What did Blood inject The Mayor with?

Well that is two years in a row Oliver has saved an enemy by mistake.

From the last flashback it looks like Sara tortured Oliver. I see why he wouldn't want to mention that.

Loved it.

The entire Sarah story is a lot better than I expected it would be. I loved her interactions with Oliver, her fight scenes and the way she and Oliver compliment each other in battle, and I especially loved her listening to Ollie and her father talk.

I liked how Diggle and Felicity kind of forget how much Oliver has been through; as great as they are they still have faults, which is nice.

I liked Brother Blood, but I would have waited a few more episodes before revealing him as the big bad.

The Roy, Thea, and SIn story was nice. I'm liking Roy and Thea more than last season.

As for Laurel? I don't see how the writers can honestly expect anyone to care about her. I thought after last week's episode she'd be a lot more tolerable, but no. Her drunk driving, and her attitude towards Quentin and Oliver... just no. Laurel was never really likable to begin with, so how can they expect us to root for her to overcome her problems? And now with Sarah as a rather impressive Black Canary, Laurel is just not needed.

Keep Sarah, ditch Laurel.

Wow.Where to start? The stuff with Arrow & Canary was gold.I wonder when she'll get her name?I also wonder how long the writers actually knew Sara would become the Canary.(There was a big hint in one of the episodes last year when Laurel said her dad bought Sara a canary)

I'm looking forward to her backstory, but I find it hard to buy her working for pirates after a year.

Laurel's drinking/pill popping storyline isn't going to win over any of the Laurel/Katie haters.I think they may be setting up one of Lance's daughters dying as the other is reborn......which will it be?

I really liked The Mayor.I was happy to see him survive......temporarily.But I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Hope to see Brother Blood in more detail soon.

Where's the poll?:argh:

Since a good portion of the fandom doesn't care for Laurel, I think many will be rooting for the drugs and alcohol to kill her. However, the CW really likes Katie Cassidy (as evidenced by the cheesy CW music that played in her scene tonight) so I suspect that whatever the decide to do about Black Canary, Katie Cassidy won't be going anywhere.

really? no one wants to acknowledge how they are possibly setting up the flash origin with all those news reports of a "particle accelerator" in the past few episodes? it's so obvious they are going to use it for flash's origin.

Good episode, lots of stuff to like if you like the show. Really interesting stuff going on in the island

It really doesn't matter if a character is well liked if people still watch the story lines the show is putting on. If ratings are good there is no reason for the show runners to change their plans for the season.

They seem to be struggling to give her a purpose for the show as it is.I'm guessing by season's end either:

A. Sara gets the big reveal to Laurel, then dies and Laurel becomes BC in her place.

or

B.They subvert expectations again (like with Tommy),giving Laurel a "noble" death in the service of protecting someone, while Sara carries on as BC.

I really don't see both surviving the season as an option.

Another great episode with the team-up of Green Arrow and Black Canary. I'm glad Oliver recognized her as Sarah. I want her to join Team Arrow that they couldn't with Huntress.

The stuff with Thea, Roy, and Sin is also interesting. They could be the Young Justice of the show. I want to see more of all three.

Both Isabel and Sebastian Blood have proven to be antagonists for Oliver Queen than Green Arrow.

Just when you thought they've redeemed Dinah Laurel last week, they make her uninteresting and unsympathetic. She blew off both her dad and Oliver. Even if she were to become the Black Canary, it's going to come off as unconvincing. I can see her be the one to die at the end of the season.

So Blood is a bad guy, yep not surprising at all. I'm glad that they didn't drag out the whole "will they recognize each other" thing with Oliver and Sara, it could have gotten annoying. Kudos writers, one again you have pleasantly subverted my expectations.

The CW has been trying to make Katie Cassiddy a thing since season 3 of Supernatural. When the fans disliked her the show ditched her (but recasted with an even worse actress ironically), but the CW has kept her around all this time. As much as I hate to say it, option A is what I'm expecting.

I'd go with Option B. The problem with Option A is that the hate for Dinah Laurel will get worse and it will come off as unconvincing.
