I think that they're saving the revealing that it really was Slade for later and that's why there was no hint. I wouldn't be disappointed if I was wrong, though. Just a thought that could be neat and easily retconned.

Perhaps. But to what end? What would the writers gain by creating such a twist? At the moment, the hallucinations provide a nice piece of character growth for Oliver. If it's later revealed to be trickery courtesy of someone else, it would undermine said development somewhat.

Personally I think you're wrong and it was an apparation for one reason. Ghost Slade had 2 eyes. But then they could get around that one way or another.

I could easily be wrong and for now I'm assuming that I am since it is a little far fetched (but I read comics and that's their bread and butter anyway). If it is the case, though, I don't think it would undermine any development. Slade could not have possibly forseen what hallucinations Ollie would encounter and wouldn't know that it actually made him stronger (and quite possibly lead to his defeat). There's an irony there that I think could be pretty cool.

Any thoughts on the meaning of Roy's arrow injury being completely healed (with not even a scar) shortly after being injected with Mirakuru?

That he has all the Mirakuru strengths that come with it. Getting it out of him is going to be a trip to see. It was mentioned around here that maybe it'll wear off and he'll start needing constant injections and become addicted to it so I'm hoping that's the route they go with. Superstrong Roy is still...strange to me.

same. tbh i hate the idea. hopefully it's just a quick storyline, and he doesn't have powers for good.

I hope by the end of the season, Roy and Ollie are working together

Is it just me or did Ollie's whiskers seem just that little bit more blonde [almost yellow in certain shots] than usual? I wonder if this is a sign of him growing the classic beard that we know and love? I mean, with the addition of the domino mask there's clearly a visual evolution going on and I'm hoping that now we've had the GA without the beard [reflecting the way he looked when he first appeared in the comics] so it would be great to see Amell end up with a full on beard like the one Neal Adams' gave him when he redesigned him.......(N.B. I'm aware that we've seen Ollie with a beard at the end of his stay on the island, but that was a full on beard, not the classic goatee ;) )

Me personally I don't want to see the classic GA goatee. To me that is just another way of letting people know who he is.

With the mask he can now be a little bit more face to face if he has a goatee and he confronts Brother Blood. Then later as Ollie he goes and talks to the Alderman. Blood will put the two together.

I know the fans love the goatee from the comics but I really don't want to see that in this show. I just think it'll look silly on him. I like the rougher, modern look that Stephen Amell has given him in this show.

51 people voted 10? Damn! Just goes to show what a awesome episode that was.

I think what I, and apparently a lot of others, like about this episode is because it appears to be a major turning point in the show, where it becomes much more "comic-bookish", if you will, an element that was somewhat missing through the first season (which I actually believe was deliberate).
