A poster over at imdb had this to say:

I met Ashley at the Abominable premiere the other day and one of my friends who went with me claims she told him during the autograph session that she had a cameo as ______ Guthrie. Anbody know who that could be? I have no idea what the first name is or what her mutant alias is (or if she is even a mutant for that matter) and i'm reporting all that my friend can remember. They also have no reason to lie to me. I hope you guys can help. Thanks!

An interesting connection I made was that Lalo Schifrin has composed the majority of Brett Ratners movies. Lalo's son, Ryan, is the director of Abominable in which Ashley stars. Maybe they helped get her the role?

By the way she is stunning. This movie sure has a lot of beautiful people in it.

So it looks like we may have Husk making an appearence.

Husk's information:

Powers: transitional bodimorph able to shed the outer layers of her flesh at will, revealing a new skin underneath formed of different materials such as rubber, glass, diamond, and various forms of metal, or to achieve metabolic changes in her template form, such as removing caked up dirt and grime or shedding wounded layers of tissue

Ha! Figure'd she might be playing Husk.

Now, if we could just get a confirmation on Beverly Mahood playing Dazzler...

This person sounds legit... but anyone can. Either way, Husk would be interesting to see onscreen. But, meh.

A user on the site said it, not the actual site, so don't dismiss it just yet. It was another user over there who gave me the info that Ken Leung was in it along with Psylocke and we all know how those panned out.

Both the posters and site are shaky. But its not like this even matters so I hardly even care if its true or not...haha.

ehhh so much for emma frost (which she completely looks likes.) so is she a student at xavier's im guessing..

You should have said that earlier. Its probably legit then.

Husk? Thank God not White Queen.

If we get Husk, we had better get Cannonball.

It'd be cool to see them on the Brotherhood - unless the X-men get back up be their students.

you know actually this is weird because just minutes ago in the car i was thinking of ashley in x3 and if she is emma or not and hoping to hear comfirmation on her role soon...kinda weird...

Ashley just had her first movie come out in limited release. Here's what joblo.com's review said about Ashley:

"Haley Joel (Amanda) did the run, scream, fight, thing convincingly while Ashley Hartman was blonde and hotter than hell’s inferno. Not much of a part."

I don't know if I believe this. It's funny that this person spelt 'Guthrie' perfectly from what the friend said, but has no knowledge of the character, etc. Ok, maybe I'm grabbing for straws...

Guthrie is a pretty common last name, but people make up rumors all the time.

Well, it's not like the last name was 'Gyllenhaal' or 'Schwarzenegger'... :p

Quite possibly, my friend. Guthrie is usually known to be spelled G-U-T-H-R-I-E :p
