Ask A Question Above, Get The Answer Below VI - Part 4

Just hold on tighter and suck it up! We already live in that kind of state so...

Do you think this only the beginning of the end?

This is the Prequel to the End, but only a very few know what's going on the rest of us are going to have to wait until the real interesting stuff starts happening.

Do you has cheeseburger?

Whatever the catto wants, it has.

Do you have a persona when you drink? And, does it have a name like: Midnight (Insert the rest of the name) or something?

I'm Irish, we're professional drinkers and as such we don't mess about with silly names, we own our drunkenness.

Do you often have negative consequences for giving a f ck when it wasn't your turn to give a f ck?

It's very rare for me not to give a f***. I always do! Even when people keep hurting me or disappointing me. But when it happens: it's not me the one who has to deal with the "negative consequences" but rather the other party does.

Can you usually tell when the other person is trying to sell you some BS?

Not always, I can be fooled as much as the next fella, but they really have to bring their A game.

What's your opinion on transwomen competing in beauty pageants and winning?

I think those beauty pageants things are boring AF! But if they choose to enter those things and win, I'd hype her up.

How stubborn would you say you are?

I am the living embodiment of stubbornness on this plane of reality.

How difficult do you make it for your friends to get back into your good graces?

Generally, I don't like holding grudges. So, just as easy as they taking the first step - if it was their wrong doing. If I acted wrong, then I should go first.

What are you passionate about?

That's the bit I have problems with, I like stuff and things but to be passionate about something eludes me, I don't have strong opinions about anything, I can't be arsed to get whipped up over anything.

What is something you don't like doing but your friends can get you to do it for them?

Lemon meringue pie, definitely. It's time consuming, has a lot of steps (the dough, the filing and the meringue) and it needs to be refrigerated for quite a few hours before eating it.

Which piece of clothing would you vanish for ever?

I've never liked Flip Flops, not on women or men, just look goofy.

Even though you may not drive, what car would you consider having sex in?

A clean one. Beyond that... I really don't care. Maybe a spacious one.

Why are you doing things you don't want to?

I would say because I am so used to following a routine, because I haven't gotten much thought to doing things I'd rather do unless they're for pleasure, and because of the consequences that come with going against the grain.

How do you deal with a situation that you're not fond of?

Outwardly I'm calm and polite and as professional as possible I try very hard not to raise my voice and resolve the situation as quickly as possible which isn't easy because inside my mind my inner voice is screaming bloody murder, everything tenses up and my stomach and chest get very tight and fluttery, I assume my blood pressure is through the roof, but afterwards all that drains away and I am just extremely tired like I could sleep for a week.

What's a good generic topic of conversation you fall back on when you don't know what to say in awkward silences?

If I already know the person and we interests in common (i.e.: movies, tv shows), then I'd ask them "have you seen this movie/tv show?" or ask them if they have any good recommendation, etc. Trivial stuff, nothing too deep. It keeps the conversation flowing.

If I don't know them, I may ask them (depending on the situation) where do they live and make small talk about their city (If I haven't been there, then I'll ask them more about the general location, or even where's located). They may suggest some places of interest or restaurants, etc. - this may take you to the next topic, and so on.

Suppose you were a twin, you both were given in adoption, would you be looking for your twin?

I'm the oldest of my siblings so I've had the privilege of being an only child for a little while, I can't imagine a twin and I'm too in my own head to think about what if situations, I really doubt it. I don't even get along with myself, wouldn't go well with two of me in the same room.

Would you be able or willing to live in a shared house with like 12 people your age, sort of like a Big Brother thing but not televised just fun challenges, and every week vote on who's head of the house?

Able? yes - Willing? Nope.

It's all games and fun until suddenly my social battery runs low and I want to be left alone.

Have you ever surprised yourself with how much you are able to endure?

All the time, one of my Mum's therapists said I was one of the most resilient kids he ever talked with considering what I went through growing up.

What is your favorite scene in the LotR Fellowship of the Ring movie? ...and IF you haven't seen it go now do not hesitate get it and watch it immediately!

These two have a podcast on YouTube and are doing a great job. They once talked about this scene: they had to rush it because there was a big storm right their way and so they had to improvise (if I remember correctly, they said they were supposed to make a nice hobbit meal) and ended up with Viggo throwing them an apple from behind the bushes. There are so many epic scenes and that's the one I like the most, yeah... I know.

If you could be one of the characters (from LOTR, obviously) which one would you choose and why?

I'm already basically Gimli, a stout vaguely Scots/Irish bearded fella in like with a tall Elven-ish person, wasted on long distance runs - I'm a natural sprinter, most comfortable on or in mountains, owns several axes, enjoys a good drink and good food, and I absolutely despise Orc-ish people.

What item or device that you own makes your life the most convenient right now?

This guy, and without him I wouldn't have any dry clothes and/or floors and/or sheets.

Tell me something true and a lie about you.

OK but I won't say which is which. If I look at a bright light for a few seconds and then close my eyes and relax and unfocus I can see moving images in the static, sometimes these show things that will happen in a few days/weeks/months, but it's always something that I will see eventually. My first stepfather under the guise of helping me wash my hair drowned me in the bathtub when I was 8, by the time the paramedics got there I hadn't breathed for 22 minutes. I spent a week in the hospital eating ice cream and watching TV.

What is something in general about your life will you never talk about on the Internet?

Won't even try to guess which is real and which is a lie.

Yes, there are a few topics that I wouldn't discuss openly, but I still have to figure out which ones :P

When was the last time you did something nice for someone?

My girlfriends parents aren't doing well financially so I paid their rent for a year. She doesn't know and I hope to Jeebus she never finds out!

What's the last dirty trick you played on some unsuspecting friend and/or relative?
