3. You seem to have assembled quite an amazing cast for a comic book film. What attracted these A-list stars? Are there any hardcore GR fans besides you and Nic? Or were they just really attracted to the story, characters, etc.?

How do you get Nicolas Cage to look like a demonically possessed hell rider?


Ghost Rider director Mark Steven Johnson explained how star Nicolas Cage transforms into the spectral biker.

"We film Nic or his double, dressed as the Ghost Rider, with the spikes, chains, leather and everything on him. But he wears an interactive light collar around his neck, sometimes a whole green helmet, and that's what we're going to be removing," Johnson told Comics Continuum. "So it is the person, it is the actor, but the head itself is CG. And that was our biggest challenge, making sure it looks absolutely fantastic.

"And being able to use fire as a way to give expression, which you can't with a skull. You take the shadows of the fire and the way the fire moves to give expressions and moods, which is really great because you can't get that in the comic. You can see it change before your eyes.

"When Ghost Rider's angry, he'll go white-hot with flame. When he gets sad, it will literally go blue. There's a way you can use the fire as an extension of his personality," Johnson said.

1) Do you have any plans for DAREDEVIL-2 with AFFLECK, because in one of the latest interviews, AVI ARAD says that: He would love to make a second, darker "Daredevil" movie, as soon as I get the rights back.We licensed it. If they'll give us the rights back, we'll make the movie."
So Mr MSJ, what do you think about it & how much you are passionate about its sequel???

He'll answer the ones he wants or if someone wants to they can put them all together in one post. It's not like I'm asking 100 questions and after I post once I shouldn't be eliminated from asking another question. I think I'm out though.

I'm not saying think of all your questions at once. Just that if you think of another question you can just go back and hit the edit button on your original post with your questions and add to it.

Well my idea was to take everything MSJ answered and try to get a sticky thread on it. You could do that instead so that people can read what he has answered instead of reposting questions.

Will the original Ghost Rider be incorporated? Y'know, that guy who dressed in white and rode a horse. In fact, will we see any previous form of Ghost Rider (like a Clint Eastwood GR from the Old West)?

They did that sort of thing with stickies on the Blade Trinity boards with Goyer, Snipes, Reynolds and Biels all having they're own thread. Id would be nice (wink wink) if maybe we could ask some questions directed at Nic Cage and maybe MSJ could print them out and hand them to Cage at the premiere in an envelope.

Oooooooooo. Now that would be cool. I've often wondered if Nic Cage ever visits this site, being as he's a comic fan and knowing that MSJ comes here.

I SERIOUSLY doubt Nic has any time to visit this site. He is a VERY busy guy. But I am sure that Nic knows of that site through MSJ.
