A new comic releasing the completely differing origins of the two most famoust Ghost Riders: Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze. Here's the cover:

The demonic debuts of the original Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, and his grim successor, Dan Ketch!
Johnny reclaims the power of his birthright - just in time to face down Hell itself!
Collecting MARVEL SPOTLIGHT (1971) #5, GHOST RIDER (1990) #1 and GHOST RIDER

Awesome, the cover art is amazing and I definately want to see their origins revisited in a modern comic.

It's cool how one side of his jacket is plain like Blaze's and the other side is spiked out like Ketch's.

Big bummer, it's just the original two comics in one new cover. Would like to see Dan Ketch revisited for modern times.

I can live with that. My personal GR canon ends at v2 #94, with the proviso that Blaze found his kids some time afterward.

has anyone read the GR series when Johnny escapes from hell, and he has to kill all 666 of the devils forms, and then he learns that he became the GR by the work of the archangel Zadkiel?? that was an AMAZING read, and i think this picks up where the last one (Heaven's on Fire) leaves off. promises to be good :ghost:

I've read a bit of that series but I haven't read the whole thing since I don't own them myself.

if you get the chance, you should. the whole series is just awesome. when you think it cant get any more epic, it does!! i recommend it a lot!!

Those are the Daniel Way issues that started the 2006 series off that ended with Jason Aaron. It's being collected in one big book soon. I might go about getting that if I can find someone to get the Life and Death of Johnny Blaze trade I have.

I look back at that series now and enjoy it a lot more than I did when following it monthly.
