The Adequate Spider-Man

My new name for the film. Can't wait for The Adequate Spider-Man 2 :funny:

I was overreacting before aswell but I think I've had it figured now
The scenes they cut out are

The Goal post bending scene-It was ridiculous and had to be removed

A scene with Peter skating and jumping over cars and landing on top of a Lamp post-Although they looked pretty good in the Imax trailer,it doesnt make such a big difference, probably removed to make the movie shorter

The date scene with Gwen and 2 scenes with Billy Connors

The Peter stalking Connors scene,They replace it with him figuring out Lizard's hideout by seeing Lizards entering the sewers, though the first one looked better and logical but it doesnt make such a big difference

And Sewer scene and the Lizard and the girls scene in the Bathroom was probably supposed to be included and the reason I say this is because they had completely finished and touched up CGI as we saw in the sewer scene and the comic-con footage, they probably got into trouble with the censor boards with the Lizard-eating-people-angle.They probably had to remove it a lot later and because all the other scenes were already shot and put together, they couldnt do a lot to replace it well and did a make shift scene of Peter finding the animation in the Sewer and the arc about Ratha couldnt be completed

My point is,You cant really blame Sony completely here,a rise in the censor ratings would have hurt them hence they had no choice but to remove the scenes, its more of a case of poor planning rather than limiting the director's creativity like it was the case with SM3

You can blame them for removing the Date scene and the Scenes with Billy Connors but they probably did it to make the movie shorter-It probably saved up around 15-20 minutes

The bold are scenes that are fine to be taken out, especially since I prefer the way the theatrical cut showed how Peter found Connors rather than just following him, but I don't see how censor would block any scenes we know of because they're hardly anything hard PG-13 or even getting into the R rating. Same issue with Spider-Man 3. It's just to shave off time, which that is even a poor excuse as people did watch TA and TDKR which were long films. TAS-M could have very as well and be much more enjoyable, imo.

.....shut up.

Sucks when you're wrong, huh?

No no
The scene in the Lab was probably always supposed to be there(Wonderful things are going to happen,Wonderful things)
Its after that, originally he was supposed to find out his lair by stalking him, they replaced that with him figuring it out by observing Lizards going towards the Sewer
Not a very good decision imo

They have wierd rules,I mean you show a giant lizard eating people and you would probably get into trouble, its probably considered more gory that say Two-Face in TDK

Why would they remove scenes so late after going through the effort of completing the CGI perfectly?
The Stalking scene for example, was probably replaced very early since they didnt even complete the CGI on the arm

I guess they should call the Raimi trilogy The Less Than Adequate Spider-man since they were inferior to ASM.

What I'm saying, though, is that I preferred the idea of Peter finding the lab after the school battle following Lizard. That gave a vibe of Peter first finding where Connors has been hiding and getting his first look at Connors' new lab. Out of the three individual scenes we saw, the only scene that I'm fine with not being on the final cut of TAS-M is Peter following Connors.

They have wierd rules,I mean you show a giant lizard eating people and you would probably get into trouble, its probably considered more gory that say Two-Face in TDK

But going for a bite and seeing Lizard actually eating someone are two different things. Lizard going for a bite should work just as fine under the PG-13 rating. And instead, we had a very mild mannered giant lizard as a villain, haha.

Well that particular scene, I already said I was fine with it not being in the final cut, but with the other scenes, you could see the CGI being worked on already as well as us seeing most of the deleted scenes in the trailers. That's Sony doing of wanting to shave time off which is silly.

It gets old proving you wrong. Yes, yes it does. Just telling you how it does make the film suffer and your reply is '....shut up'. Real mature there bud :funny:

How long did it take you to think of that?

Because Bane was so awesome

Lighten up, it was a joke hence the 'lol'.

i liked Bane, but he died in a stupid way, and after all the build up to the character it was just Talia. all this time ... that´s one thing i didn´t like and Bruce gives up as Batman? why?
Returning to the Bluray of TASM what´s the difference between 2D bluray and 3D bluray?

I liked the movie but is very overrated, is your opinion you thought AMAZING Spiderman was just adecuate i think TDKR is overrated
he was too damn big to be crying like that. Lol and catwoman shot him...... that scene alone took away how cool he was. That was just unacceptable haha
