Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation won an award for "Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing" from the Writers Guild of America. Richard Farrese and Jill Murray are credited with the script.

Liberation beat out 007 Legends, Assassin's Creed 3, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Halo 4 and Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The Writers Guild of America has defended its nominations process in years past, which requires potential nominees be (at a minimum) part of the Video Game Writers Caucus.

Where I live, there already was a price drop, so I don't think it will be cheaper. it may have been a dumb move, though. Regardless, I love my vita so far.

Ubisoft has announced two new Assassin’s Creed games. Assassion’s Creed Liberation HD, as its name suggests, is a remake of last year’s PlayStation Vita game for consoles, while Assassin's Creed Pirates is a new mobile title.

According to Ubisoft, Liberation HD offers “a complete graphical overhaul, re- mastered music and sound effects, a revamped gameplay experience, and new missions that dive deeper into Aveline’s story.”

Liberation HD tells the same story as the Vita installment, though certain optional cutscenes have been woven into the main story in order to make it clearer. The game is in development at Ubisoft Sofia -- the same team that worked on the Vita version -- and is set to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC as a digital title in 2014.

PlayStation Vita game Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation is coming to PC and consoles. Ubisoft have announced that the game, retitled Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, will be available “soon” for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Here’s a trailer:

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD takes place in 1765 New Orleans, and as a first for the series, stars a female assassin in the leading role. Aveline, the assassin in question, has the ability to don various outfits that allow her to blend in with different parts of society, and also change her skills and abilities.


Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will feature gameplay refinements, visual upgrades and unspecified new content, according to Ubisoft. The game will be available as a download title upon release.​
