Quick question about the arrival scene, surprisingly NOT about the pool! I was watching the DVD and noticed something about when Ratchet landed. It looks like he landed in the parking lot, and the got up and ran through the building. Or am I crazy?

Yes, he landed on the street, by that restaurant those kids were in, and got up, ran into a building, but it was more like a garage, and then hid behind a tree (the kid with the camera yelled "Something's behind that tree!"), then copied an ambulance and drove off.

I got the impression that he bounced off of the street and then finally landed in that building, but that does leave the problem of how he managed to make a 90 degree turn mid bounce.

Thanks for the answer!

I wish Jazz had chosen the Saturn Sky for his alt mode. Far more alien looking...

Yeah, but Saturn's not a GM car anymore...this movie was essentially a promo for the new GM line that's already come out or is coming out.

The Solstice is out. I see 'em every time I come in to work and leave work. Ahhh.....sooo sporty and 'Jazzy', but soooo expensive.

When I first saw the movie, my friend said, "Are you glad they put your car as Jazz?" and it got me mad, cuz now I want a Solstice; he got my G6 confused.

A G6 would be a cool Autobot....plus, my car kinda already is, I have a huge Autobot logo sticker on my back window.

Where'd you get your sticker? I need a stockpile. :woot:

My friend, who's in boot camp now, made me a sticker and for free since I helped him out before with some bills.

But it's right in the middle, it has a white/silver look to it and it's sick.

I am curious where you got that information, as you know the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky are the same car with just different sheet metal. Saturn is still a GM brand as it has always been. I do agree with the one poster that said Jazz would look better as a Sky. I have seen both cars in person and i have to say the Sky is a LOT better looking than the Solstice, not that I do not like the Solstice, it is just the Sky looks better ;).

Ok, I looked up a picture of the Sky and I've got to agree with Dave McFly that it looks better than the Solstice. I wouldn't turn down the Solstice if someone offered me one, but given a choice, I'd probably go with the Sky.

I thought GM sold the Saturn line and no longer has any rights to it.

I could be wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere.

nope GM still owns it, in fact the Sky roadster is sold in Europe as the Opel GT (GM owns Opel, along with SAAB, and Isuzu), other than badging its 100% identical to the car we have here. and Opel is selling their crossover SUV as the new VUE suv, and the Astra subcompact here as well, as the Saturn Astra. And i would not turn down a Solstice or a Sky, especially the one with the 260hp (base cars have 170hp ;) ) turbo versions.

Ahhh...okay. I must have read that wrong or the deal went sour and GM decided against selling that line. Sorry 'bout that.

Maybe they'll appear in the sequel. Ya never know!
