Avatar 2 Box Office Prediction?

How much do you think Avatar 2 will gross at the box office when it hit theaters in Christmas 2014? Choose in the poll and say the exact numbers of your gross prediction after choosing

Feels impossible trying to predict it this early when we know more or less nothing about it. Can he deliver another movie that will be a must see? Or will it be more of a typical sequel? Can 3D still attract people by the time of the release (especially on the international market)? Impossible to know right now. The gross of the two Hobbit-movies might give a first hint of what we can realistically expect from the Avatar-sequels. At the moment I'm playing cautious and says they will do less than the first movie. Making over a billion at least, in these days when even garbage like Transformers can do it. The funny thing though is that if Avatar 2 makes like only half of what the first did many will probably consider it a flop or at least a disappointment (I bet those who like to make comments involving the movies Pocahontas, Ferngully and Dances with Wolves will be quick to write about the sequels "failure") James Cameron is the only director who could make a $1,3-1,4 billion grossing movie look like an underwhelming performance
