WTF? Double post, sorry. Anyways, any LBP players here? Anyone tried creating an Aang Sackboy?

^ That's Jesse McCartney. He does have some acting chops, as I 've watched him guest star in Law & Order. He had dark hair in the guest spot, and I didn't even recognize him. My wife pointed him out.

With that, check out this audition vid someone sent in (he didn't get picked though, obviously):

Avatar teaser will be shown during Transformers 2...thatz 3 more months to go..........

that kid was pretty frikkin good, especially on the martial arts... I'd like to see the guy who got pick's audition...

It doesn't matter because Shymalan is directing it. Everything he touches turns to BO poison.

I do forsee a problem though: underlying backdrop. Essentially, the backdrop of Avatar was the Fire Nation's war against the rest of the world. With the war over and no real major threat, who would the new characters struggle against? What would be the tone of the stories?

You have to create a threat. If its anywhere in the lifetimes of the main characters, it would likely be a fall out of the war. Either a nation goes all out with their "Never Again" to the fire nation, or some group decides it should decide world policy in the future. Potentially, if you find a bender badass enough, you won't even need a whole nation to back him up. He'll just naturally gain his own followers.

I'm still a little peeved about the casting(especially how Hollywood gives no love to asian actors), but after that teaser, I'm all onboard for this.

After seeing the trailer I believe this movie has a lot of potential. Whether it follows through or not, we'll have to see.

I saw it the other day on YouTube, and yesterday in the theater. It's awesome on the big screen.

Yes,... The trailer is VERY impressive in the theater.

I guess we'll all be holding our breaths until further footage is shown.

Typically I don't endorse anime turned into a live action movie. I am intrigued by this trailer to check out more.

The trailer almost made me pee my pants  So far everything looks as I would imagine it to...I can't wait!!!!!

compared to that,.... attempt at dragonball z,.... this looks to be golden, even with all it's flaws.

I pray that thery don't make Katara some blonde haired person with a flip or farrah cut and a bad gurl 'tude.

After seeing the Trailer a few weeks ago I decided to rent the First Book of this series. Overall I thought it was fantastic and I really am looking foward to watching Book 2. It will be interesting to see how they do this movie not to say that I'm thrilled about the Casting but I'll give this movie a chance.

I feel the same way about the casting ( not all that thrilled ) but have a real high hope that if the character likeness is a bit of for fans then the story line and action will be far greater than we can imagine.

- zuko is not hot enough, like in the chartoon

- Iroh just didnt really do it for me, i guess you dnt want to cast a "real" older man with a bit of belly, lol

- and although when i watch the show i dnt really fell like every one in the series is asian so not casting an all asian cast doesnt anger me. but when i look at the different nations and notice that the water tribes were the darkest of skin tones and then see that the actores cast for Katara and Sokka where the >ahem< lighter toned actors was a little off to me.

Thats just me as a fan wanting to much to see on the big screen what i see on the cartoon...

I never knew that Avatar was animated in South Korea... they really suck compared to the Japanese as far as animation goes.

Quick question, was Toph the only one to bend metal?

Then what was up with the earth kings bodyguards, I think, that had these chains they threw around?

There were probably rocks at the end they were bending. I'll look at some episodes and check.

Yeah maybe you're right, I only focused on the chain and thought it was weird that they could also bend metal.
