Finished rewatching Book 2, up to 'Sokka's Master' now.

Yeah, there's definantley an evolution in the animation. And Piandao's made of win. Sucks that Sokka never really got another chance to show off his skills.

If I had any problem with the finale, it's that Toph spent two season's crushing over Sokka and she didn't end up with anyone.

FINALLY! I have to say, this was probably the best finale for a Cartoon I've seen in a good long while. The fights, the tone, the animation...The entire story coming into Fruition...The White Lotus taking back Ba Sing Se, the final Agni Kai between Azula and Zuko (Azula's Voice Actress gets my vote for best crazy voice ever) and of course, the loving scene of Katara and Aang's kiss. Man...Really. I'm gonna miss this show ALOT.

Yeah, I realize now that it's over, that this was my favorite series for the past two or three years. What the hell do I watch and wait for now...I suppose I could go outside- no,no I'm going to wait for another good show

Am i the only one who thinks Zuko and Kitara are a better couple than Aang and Kitara? Kitara was never attracted to Aang. She has more in common with Zuko. I would like to see Aang with Toph. That would be interesting.

Well, they did tease the concept a little when June commented about Zuko getting back together with his "girlfriend". I guess this was just not meant to be.

One thing I didn't like: What happend to Azula!!? I have to know! I love Aang's new threads. Really does give him a cooler Avatar look.

Am i the only one who thinks Zuko and Kitara are a better couple than Aang and Kitara? Kitara was never attracted to Aang. She has more in common with Zuko. I would like to see Aang with Toph. That would be interesting.

There were a LOT of people who think Zuko and Katara were a better pairing.

(I'm not one of them,... but folk have been talking about it for a bit.)

I personally believe that if Suki were not around the the best for Toph is Sokka.

I still wish Azula could have been saved and Depowered.

Haru's pretty boring really. He's just this Earthbending guy who wants to be reunited with his dad and that's about it. Am pretty happy with all the pairings in the show. Maybe if the season does get one of those "Special Edition" features and extras, I'd like to see how the Gaang eventually goes their seperate ways. It'd be nice.

i loved the ending when sokka is doing the drawing at the end and katara asks why she has such big ears and then he replies that its not her ears its her "hair loopies"

Yeah, Sokka's art has always been a delight. Anyways. Rumor from a couple of posts in ASN's forums. The Avatar crew might have three more adventures in store. Three Direct to TV movies actually. It might the creators' way of answering some unresolved issues (Ursa, Aang being the "last airbender", etc etc). Might even be the introduction of newer characters for the Spinoff serious.

My guess is this Zuko will get the spin of series with Iroh an Suki, Sokka and Toph guest starring with maybe an appearance by Katara ate the begining or end of the series but i think i heard that the voice actors for Sokka and Zuko were some of the writers favorite voice actors.
I mean not many know Sokka is the brother from Hanna Montana.

I think that these three 60 minute specials will each deal with a different avatar: fire, earth, and water

Then the favourite will be turned into the rumored spin off

I am really excitied about the straight to TV movies, I just hope we don't have to wait too long. I hope there is a progression of time between them, so that by the last one, Aang is closer to adulthood. I would love to see how powerful he will be when he 18 or so.

i would rather not see anymore of this avatar. i mean the show left off on a great note. my only fear is that these movies will just kill it and drag on.

i would rather wait and see a whole new season with a new cast and storyline. i love the original characters but once the show is over, they should be too. imo

either way i dont really mind cause i love avatar !

I wouldn't mind tv/straight-to-dvd movies. That continued some of the Aang storyline.

If the next series takes place a long time in the future, I'd like to see them mention Aang et al. For example we see Zuko's potrait in the fire nation palace along with the previous Fire Lords.

I think that if they do a spinoff, they should resolve Ty Lee's character in a more appropriate way, because she was upset in "The Beach" because she felt her parents didn't notice her because her sisters were so similar, then she ends up a Kyoshi warrior, wearing a uniform, making it nigh on impossible to tell which one she is, so upon reflection she didn't really have a satisfactory character conclusion just like Toph, Ursa and to a lesser extent Zuko.

I think a "resolution" Episode would be good.

I'm wondering how Aang will restart the Air benders.

Channel an Older Air Bender Avatar for the knowledge of stuff he didn't get time to learn?

Would he go thru all the Lands testing and recruiting,... maybe finding the right mindset,.. then "granting" the Airbending ability?
