Also, as a visual aid to the cameos, some pics from Toonzone's Marvel Animation Age:

I presume this is Man Mountain Marko, drastically redesigned. He could also be Mangler, Spear's brother (?)

From left to right: Gideon Mace, William Cross/Crossfire, Cassie Lang, and Big Ben Donovan.

From left to right: Spear, Cockroach Hamilton, Scott Lang, and whom I presume are Piranha Jones and Shockwave.

Heh, mace.

I just found out he existed a few days ago. You see, he's got a Mace for a hand.

Thanks for those visuals aids to cameos we had in the episode.

It actually is ironic that we had Gideon Mace appear in an episode which aired after "USM" which stars the latest White Tiger. In the comics, Gideon Mace was the man responsible for slaughtering the Ayala family. While he did start out as a Power Man villain, he eventually branched out a little and wanted to eliminate all superheroes in NYC one by one. He picked White Tiger first, since his identity had been revealed by Lightmaster (who, ironically, incorrectly believed he was Spider-Man even though he attended ESU just like Peter Parker did). Mace and his men slaughtered the Ayala family (aside for Hector's youngest sister via retcon) and nearly killed Hector before dumping him from a car and leaving him for dead near Parker. Naturally, Spider-Man wasn't too thrilled once he caught up to Mace's men, but Mace was such a lunatic that he ordered his men to shoot at Spidey even when Spidey was using Mace as a shield. Naturally, Mace was run through with bullets and Spidey dropped him off at a hospital, and he's never been seen since in the comics.

Hector Ayala's mystical amulets, which he and subsequent White Tigers utilize for mystical martian arts mumbo, were originally used by a trio of martial artists called the Sons of The Tiger - Abe Brown, Lin Sun, and Bob Diamond. They would hold hands and say a little incantation, and the amulets allowed them all to share their combined skill and power. The trio had a falling out and dumped the amulets in the trash, which Hector found and utilized to become White Tiger. Hobie Brown/Prowler is I think the younger brother Abe, and Bob Diamond used to spar with Iron Fist later on.

But now I am rattling on with trivia.

No problem. Iron Fist on the AVENGERS WORLD forum noted that the partner of Man Mountain Marko (or Mangler) was Scythe. I'm a little annoyed I missed him since he's one of those guys who is named after his weapon (like Spear), but it happens.

I like what he wears here. Some kind of head guard and not a Tiara like he's a little Princess.

Nah. Don't like it. Wouldn't work in live-action. It's too much. He looked as he should on this episode. Cage should dress like a regular guy in regular clothes, but a diesel one. Nothing too loud. You were spot on w/Iron Man tho. I would hope the mask translates well.

Ya dread again good info on characters. Fist/powerman and white tiger are characters I am not to familar with. So I like learning more of them.

Totally agree like action he should just wear normal cloths. But I would mind a nod to say his cheesy 70s attire. Like say in an episode he wears a loud yellow shirt.

I really enjoyed this episode, which is surprising to me because I was never a big fan of Henry Pym, Scott Lang, Power Man or Iron Fist. I didn't necessarily dislike any of those characters, but growing up I never bought a comic book specifically because one (or more) of them was featured in it.

Despite my indifference towards the featured characters, "To Steal An Antman" probably goes on my list of favorite episodes from this series so far. I thought it was good storytelling, even if it was nothing groundbreaking. We've all seen the "I committed this crime because my loved one is sick/kidnapped/choose-your-perilous-condition" storyline before. But, that doesn't bother me at all as long as the story is executed well, and I definitely think it was in this case. Sometimes the classic storylines are still the best!

Do you think it's too much to ask for a GLA episode?

One of the reasons why I love this show so much is the fact that they make sure that every character is interesting. I couldn't care less about Pym or Jan in the comics, but in the show I've liked them. There really isn't one or two members that dominate the team. Sure Iron Man is the leader and all, but he doesn't overshadow everyone else. Neither does Thor and Cap. They get their shine, but so does everyone else.

In the bold - and that's the way it should be.

Luke Cage and Iron Fist's guest appearance really made me even more interested in seeing a live action Heroes for Hire movie.

Really enjoyed the latest episode, I've been waiting to hear of the whereabouts of Pym and this was a good conclusion for him.

Loved seeing Luke Cage and Iron Fist, I turned to my lil bro and said you see this is how Cage is supposed to be. *Referring to Ultimate Spider-Man*

I've given Ult Spidey a chance but it's just so awful.

Loved this last episode and Cage and Rand were perfect.

Is it me or is Marvel pushing these two into the limelight more than usual? I wonder if it's a sign they're seriously considering them for their own show or movie.

Well cage and iron fist have been characters marvel has on the docket next to antman, dr. Strange, guardians of the universe, and a few others. Also if the jessica jones live action series gets off the ground. Its been said that cage would be in show too.

But aren't there other characters more deserving of their own series than Jessica Jones?

Nobody deserves anything. It's what can sell. And a story about a former superhero turned private dick who drinks a lot and sleeps around due to post traumatic stress due to being mentally manipulated by a sadistic f**k might sell.

Female lead, attractive, bad-ass, sleeps-around... yeah, that'll probably sell.

There have been rumors about wanting to do an "Iron Fist" movie with Ray Park aka Darth Maul.

Haven't those rumors been going around for like 5 or more years now?

A lot longer than 5 years at this point. I see hell freezing over before that happens.

Ray Park's pushing 40 at this point, isn't he? Not that that's really a deterrent, given RDJ...

He's 37 according to his Wikipedia.

I love the dude but I don't think he's got the best look for Danny Rand and he should hardly be the only choice.

Just depends. Do they want an actor/stuntman that is great with martial arts or do they want someone who can pretend to do all of that.

I think the concept though is best suited for a TV show really for Heroes for Hire. And make Luke Cage and Danny Rand a type of odd superhero detective couple.

I'd kind of prefer someone who knows what they're doing for the acrobatic types in movies. That's the only thing I haven't really liked about Captain America's movie portrayal: Chris Evans clearly isn't a martial arts badass or anything, and consequently Cap winds up looking like just some dude who throws a shield a lot in the movies instead of the effortlessly graceful, acrobatic, and agile fighter he's supposed to be.
