Baby discovered alive in morgue 12 hours after declaration of death

Incompetent people never cease to amaze me. I'd definitely take the hospital to the "cleaners".

Good grief! Someone is going to be in some serious trouble, as they should be.

"Mommy, tell me about the day I was born."

"...No."

Damn...

That kid is probably going to grow up with some serious issues.

May this kid grow up and do wonderful things.

Someone commented on the article and said "These doctors got their degree from a vending machine". :funny:

Good to see the baby is seemingly doing better (yet still in critical condition).

They will name him Russ, then he will grow up and not want to get a job, go on unemployment benefit, and will be reffered to as Lazyruss.

edit: that is the worst joke i have ever posted, I'm keeping it up in the hope it will fall into the 'so absolutely ****ing awfully bad beyond belief, that it is good.'

That's impossible since the baby in question is actually female. :whatever::doh:

Oh man. I don't even want to know what I would've done if I was in the dad's shoes.

I would sue the hell out of these bastards.

But surely you guys aren't serious in thinking this will affect the child. It's a newborn baby. I can barely remember stuff from when I was like 3 years old.

Glad to hear the baby and family is alright in the end though.

Heads should roll for this extreme level of neglect and incompetence.

A baby placed in a room that's 36 degrees for 12 hours and still alive!

I know some people don't believe in a higher power, devine intervention, etc., but when you hear about stuff like this, you can't help, but wonder...

That non-dead baby just made its parents some serious money.

That's some crazy ****! If I were the dad I would be extremely happy, and extremely furious all at the same time.

Yes, this would be the pre-credits prologue before a superhero/sci-fi movie.

...and she was premature. I hope she continues to thrive.

Okay, first off, the baby was born premature. It's certainly possible that she could have stopped breathing and had her heart rate slowed enough to be easily presumed dead. I'm not going to say that this wasn't negligence, but unless you think you can do better, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions.

And trust me, it's not as easy as you think to determine whether something is dead.

Yeah this isn't the first time something like this has happened.

Miracle or zombie baby? I think it's an important distinction.
