They had a tease for a sequel in the movie. Leaving it open for a sequel.

I agree that they should've just wrapped things up with BB3. Just due to age, story, etc. But they clearly left it open for a sequel. I mean it's an action franchise, they'll always be another bad guy who they can stop

All his projects that fell through post the slap, Bright 2 basically, was already not getting made. The slap isn't what stopped that movie from happening

He's taken a PR hit. That's all. That's not new to the social media era. When Tom Cruise did the Oprah couch jump and all that, his career took a hit but he wasn't cancelled. Then he came back. Smith will do the same.

IF this was someone just starting out or a newer actor like Jonathan Majors or Lakeith Stanfield, I'd agree. But Smith is a household name. He'll bounce back.

If Bad Boys 4 doesn't happen, it'll be due to SONY negligence (similar to how long it took for BB3 to happen). Not due to the slap. Come on now...

All you heard after the slap was about his movies being cancelled, even BB4 was rumoured as being cancelled. It's ridiculous for me. WS did wrong and got punished. Chris Rock has moved on why can't everyone else

Bright 2...and.....nothing else. Emancipation got pushed back but thats not surprising considering he took a PR hit. And even Bright 2 there hadn't be outward development of it for years. No one still thought that was happening anyway. Smith will be fine.

"Rumored to be canceled". You can find rumors abut anything. Doesn't necessarily mean thye are true

If you want people to move on, stop bringing it up.

Okay well my comment wasn't aimed at you it was in reply to the bumper and other people commented on it and you didn't take umbridge with them. I just think it's foolish IF any of his movies get cancelled for that and the rumours are a few have. No smoke without fire as they say.

That was a very unfortunate thing that happened, and I don’t think it’s really my place to comment, except to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years, and I know him to be a good person. Bad Boys 4 is confirmed and yeah even though what Will Smith did was ****ed up with the Slap, I actually enjoyed Bad Boys for Life. Hell, just been rewatching the whole trilogy of films today and after the way the 3rd movie ended, it pretty much teased this film
