Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Bad Guys for Agents of SHIELD

What bad guys do you want our Agents of SHIELD to face?

I'm thinking low-level henchmen or mercenary type characters who would fit into the show's dynamic on a television budget and are unlikely to be prize picks for movies. I'm avoiding any big "leader" type villains for this thread. I'll start with a few ideas, but feel free to add some or disagree with the ones I've thought of:

Taskmaster - A ubiquitous suggestion, often accompanied by suggestions that Ward turn into him (something I'm hoping to avoid in this thread). Taskmaster might require Agents of SHIELD to step up their A game in fight correography but he's otherwise a fairly low budget character to implement. He's one of the bigger mercenaries of the Marvel universe and would fit in well. Although he does have some history with Scott Lang, so I wouldn't rule him out in the movies.

Whirlwind - Often paired with Donnie Gil, David Cannon would be a nice superpowered villain who otherwise would probably be skipped because he isn't really all that exciting.

Grim Reaper - Basically a guy with a really sharp scythe, he was featured heavily in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and could probably work well on a television budget.

Any other ideas?

I wouldn't mind seeing some of Spidey's lesser villains showing up.

Madame Masque and the High Evolutionary could be interesting.

I went back and forth with Madame Masque. Would she be big enough to be an actual Iron Man villain? If so, I think I'd rather save her for that (I'm an optimist).

Could definitely see some weaker Spidey villains if they can work out the rights to have them appear on the show (as opposed to just movies).

Marvel Entertainment has released an official synopsis for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s third new episode of 2015, which is titled "One Of Us."

In it, Skye's father Doctor Cal Zabo, who is played by Kyle Maclachlan ("Twin Peaks"), still has a grudge against Agent Coulson and unite Super Villains to seek out revenge. Ugh, what a jerk!

"One of Us" - Cal seeks revenge on Coulson by assembling a team of Super Villains to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, May calls on renowned Dr. Andrew Garner (Blair Underwood), her charismatic ex-husband, with a crisis that threatens to tear the team apart, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Tuesday, March 17 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Agent Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter and Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse.

Guest starring are Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, Kyle Maclachlan as The Doctor/Cal, Jamie Harris as Gordon, Blair Underwood as Dr. Andrew Garner, Drea De Matteo as Karla Faye Gideon, Ric Sarabia as Wendell Levi, Geo Corvera as Francis Noche, Jeff Daniel Phillips as David A. Angar, Gregg Martin as student, Jack Kennedy as security guard and Jamal Duff as John Bruno.

"One of Us" was written by Monica Owusu-Breen and directed by Kevin Tancharoen.

we'll work with this thread for now. Drea De Matteo is the only name i recognize of the new people, from Sopranos and Joey. and Duff was in Dodgeball. At least 3 of the guys are muscly guys according to google, so i'm looking forward to some good fights
