Bad movies you really enjoy

Off the top of my head:

Jaws 3
Condorman
G.I.JOE: Retalliation
Superman IV (but only because of Nuclear Man)
American Ninja
Sakura Killers
King of the Kickboxers

I find I Frankenstein entertaining for some reason, though i know it's awful.

Critters, (the rest of the sequels are just plain awful.)

I think some people don't quite get the purpose of this thread. It's for bad movies that you enjoy anyways. BAD movies. As in not good. By what stretch of the imagination are the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies or The Watchmen classified as being bad? Maybe they didn't appeal to EVERYONE, but then what movie does? Just because a movie isn't of a genre that you normally enjoy doesn't make it a bad movie, just a movie that doesn't suit your tastes. Maybe they're going by critical acclaim, but just because critics don't like a movie doesn't make it a bad movie either. Their approval of movies are often based on their own personal tastes more than the actual quality of the film itself.

I think I understand the idea..but whose base opinion that a film is bad are we going from? I think all Terminator films after T2 are bad..real bad. I also think super 8 is real bad. Must the films have a no higher than X rating on RT for it to be considered universally bad?

So Watchmen then............ Joking though for me that is a genuinely mediocre movie.

Has any said the obvious one yet? FLASH aha hero of the universe

Flash Gordon of course. And when I wrote the last thing I remebered Streetfighter

Swamp Thing
Return Of Swamp Thing
The Squeeze (1987 Michael Keaton movie)
Hook
Lost In Space (1998)

Ok, I do not think I have ever started a thread on here before, and I hope to all things holy that this is not a duplicate.

I have a love for terrible movies. Awful movies that somehow, for whatever reason, ended up as an embarrassment to the medium. Most of us have seen or heard of the Tommy Wiseau disaster that is The Room. And of course the legendary Troll 2. But there are so very many films that have the dubious honor of being complete trainwrecks.

I just watched the 1970's TV movie "Beware! The Blob." It is on Amazon Prime VOD. It is spectacularly terrible in every way possible. It is obviously a sequel to the Steve McQueen film The Blob (an all-time favorite of mine). And in "Beware! The Blob" there is a scene where one of the characters is actually watching the movie "The Blob" on his television. Let that sink in.

What are some of the best worst movies you have ever seen, and what specifically made it awful?

White Chicks is my favorite "bad" movie. I just found the whole thing hysterical.

I read a book called Showgirls, Teen Wolves, and Astro zombies, by Michael Adams that was about this guy's quest to find the worst movie. It was a great read, he talked about a lot of terrible movies.

Troll 2
The Room
Pieces
Burial Ground
Nail Gun Massacre
Massacre on Dinosaur Valley
Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest

Runaway - released in 1984 starring Tom Selleck, not necessarily a bad movie I just think nobody remembers it as it's hardly ever shown on TV. In it Selleck plays a cop who specializes in malfuntioning robots and in the interim he has to search for a evil computer type of guy that wants to exploit them for evil purposes (of course) played by Gene Simmons.

Massacre on Dinosaur Valley... I am all over it!

Yeah, that was actually not a bad movie (as you stated). If you want to pick a bad movie starring Gene Simmons, "KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park" is about as bad as it gets.

GI JOE rise of Cobra, a guilty pleasure, as is Bloodsport (super 80's martial arts cheese fest).

Tron Legacy, actually grows on you after awhile.

I love Speed Racer, it's great fun.

Gods of Egypt is fun too, cheesy but fun.

All the Transporter films.....in fact most Jason Statham films are enjoyable, but none of them are going to win any Oscars.

Matrix Reloaded is nowhere near as bad as people make out (Revolutions is pretty terrible though).

Superman IV, I love the concept, and Chris Reeve.

The first Mortal Kombat film.

Conan the Barbarian, love that movie.

Howard the Duck

The Garbage Pail Kids

Megaforce, one of the worst films ever made :D

American Ninja

King Kong Lives

Deep Rising

Great choice, I co-sign.

Van Helsing
House of the Dead
Batman and Robin
Speed 2: Cruise Control
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
Valentine
The Haunting (99)
Independence Day: Resurgence
House of Wax (05)
Volcano

Revenge Of The Ninja - one of the better (?) ninja movies of the 1980's brought to you by the fine folks of the Cannon Group.
