Bad Recasts

That was that one time, the other times whenever Phil did (or said) anything wrong she would always go upstairs.

But it wasn't all she did. She would make Uncle Phil sleep on the couch, she would yell at him or lecture him from time to time. I can only think of a few times she just ran upstairs and that was the end of it. Hell, the only time I can think of is the Love Train episode and that is only because Phil hurt her so badly that yelling at him wouldn't have done justice to the situation.

I agree with pyrochamber, new aunt Viv was much more of a pushover. And I didn't really see as much chemistry between her and Hilary.



Like I mentioned before, the raise/Will being producer stuff was only part of it. She did have problems with Will, but the other producers were also upset because of her pregnancy.

Wrong! She forced Phil to accept Will and Hilary's apology for insult him on their talk show. She let Ashley do whatever Phil didn't want her to do. Thats what I like about the 2nd Vivian. She knew when Phil was wrong and let the children get away with everything Phil was against. The original Vivian always took Phil's side. Even when she knew he was wrong. Like when Ashley didn't want to take violen lessons. It took her till the end of the episode to tell Phil to shut up. The 2nd Vivian would have just told Ashley to do whatever she wanted from the getgo.

My sister used to watch Days of Our Lives and only having one TV I was forced to watch too, and at one point they actually recast one of the characters IN MID EPISODE. Seriously. In one shot he was one actor, then they cut to another angle and he's a new actor.

Days has some awful recasts. Once in a while you get a good one where the new actor is actually better.

I'm pretty sure all recasts are terrible. Except maybe Becky on Roseanne. The old Becky was whiny and annoying, but the new Becky (Scrubs' Sarah Chalke) was hot.

Are you all talking about Harriet being reacast when the series became a spin off from Perfect Stangers, or are you all saying that she was recast near the end of its run? Because the IMDB says that the woman that played Harriet played in all the episodes.

Sarah Chalke wasn't that great as Becky #2 on Rosanne. She made up for it though on Scrubs as Dr. Elliot Reed, or as Janitor calls her "Blond Doctor."
