Looking at Rock's last few post, they seem to be in the Ant-Man forum. Quite possible he kept with his overwhelming hating on Wright and anyone defending him in the least. I got into it with him a bit the other day about Wright. I had to just walk away before it dissolved. I guess that was the right choice.

I am counting on you for an appropriately moving eulogy.

I already have one planned for you.

Yeah, there might not have been a bigger ridiculously biased MCU cheerleader.

Fixed

When early critic reviews came out for Thor: The Dark World, he got into it with me and Aveitwithjamon. We had slight worries about what most of the critics were saying, that Malekith was a weak villain with no substance. Of course Rock jumps in saying how we're ridiculous and a bunch of jackasses. Hmm, when numerous reviews claim the same thing, I don't think it's really a matter of opinion anymore, especially when it comes to writing. Funny thing is that he hadn't seen the movie either but was basically saying we were wrong and basically dumb.

Then, Travesty will go to pick up a bag you'll have left him.

"Name please?"

"Travesty."

"You should use your full name. I like that name...Robin."
I can feel this post in my bones and stuff.

I only interacted with Rock in the Thor threads when The Dark World came out. He seemed okay.

I was trying to be nice. But your correction is far more accurate. :funny:

I would like to be nice about it but I've seen his attitude far too many times. I also added to my post you quoted as a good example of his bias. :woot:

I imagine the first thing someone does when they get banned is head right to this thread and refresh the pages all day long to read what people say about them.

Probably. If that's the case I'll miss you Rock haha, I looked at his last few posts and truth be told they didn't seem all that terrible to me at least.

In the same way that you don't hear the bullet that kills you, the post that finally gets someone banned is usually deleted, meaning that we miss the fun.

What regwec said is spot on and to be honest, Rock wasn't always a jerk in every post but the bad far outweighed the good.

True, I didn't consider that. In some of the pro-bans I've seen (which haven't been many, I only recently started posting back here frequently) they've left up one final post. In the case of Alexya Bolyekev or however it's spelled they did, and I return back to those few posts frequently to get a quick laugh in.

I remember Rock could be super obnoxious but I actually didn't dislike him in the end. Don't get me wrong it's not like he was on my cool mofo list DarthSkywalker or Hunter Rider to name a couple of people but he was not hated by me in the end.

Yeah, I know what you mean. At one point I decided I needed to "make peace" with Rock, if I ever wanted to actually enjoy my times on the MCU boards. It turned out to be the right move, as overall my experience on the boards have been far more enjoyable and I actually started to get along with Rock for the most part. I kind of started to like him. Though I did still see him go "big man on campus" quite a few times. It wasn't pretty either.

I was a part of that as well. It wasn't that he couldn't see flaws in TDW, he just simply dismissed them as not all that bad. If it was another studio's film, he would never be so lenient.

True, though sometimes you can kind of see what was leading up to it. Unless of course the poster went crazy and posted a whole bunch of "wacky" post in a row.

And I always thought my eventual Academy Award would be my crowning achievement. But to be on SPIDEY's "Cool Mofos" List? :awesome:

No greater honor. :yay:

Rock? While I am little stunned that he is banned, I always found it amazing that he could be such an aggressive poster for so long.

I figured he was banned for infractions...

He got a aggressive a lot, but I figured that since he ever did enough to get banned for one post.

Just to clarify, how many total infractions guarantee a perma-ban? Even expired infractions from as far back as 5 years count towards this total?

Why do they say expired if they still count?

Anyway Im only 2 infractions in. One for an inappropriate video (I Love Tha P**** by Alpa Chino from the Tropic Thunder OST) and another for "Flaming" when I was joking with someone and it got misconstrued. Both are from 09.

It's not that hard to not get infractions.

No, it isn't. I have one that was totally justified, and others which are rather pathetic.
