Doesn't look very comfy, lol. I can see how it might come out of the tumbler. The bike looks to be positioned on the right side of the vehicle, and maybe Bats does that thing where he goes down into the car (like in BB) and then out pops the car (just like childbirth) :p

It appears to be custom made for Batman´s size. I mean, the Today show host didn´t seem comfortable either.

I know Nathan Crowley designed the batpod but did the same crew who built the tumbler did they build the batpod.

I'd be surprised if they kept the same designer and switched builders for this bike.

Why change a good thing?

yes, the girls face says it all

Looks fast....bike does too lol

Nice. I was gonna do a comment about which one was easier to ride, but it's all good.

I dont think Ive looked at the bike in any of these pics lol Very nice ride....think about that one for a while haha

Why did you attack me instead of my arguement?

To provoke you to respond. Seems like it worked.

Uneccesarry use of montage can be seen in most of his work, Batman Begins has suffered the most from this in the public eye.

Of course, I too agree that the needless exposition in Begins was more than a bit annoying and dragged the film down a bit, but it's still not a travesty like you're crying about. I mean, with you chimps anything has to be either divine or disastrous. There is no middle ground.

I find it curious as to why you just go after the poster and not the post, this is not the place for this though, and we shall let it alone, I just hope we can have a discussion rather than you hurling insults next time.

And first of all, I find it curious as to why you are discussing a topic in the wrong forum.

And I find it curious as to why you had the thread we were discussing this subject earlier closed.

And I find it curious as to why you didn't respond to my arguments in the BB forum that clearly exposed your unsubstantiated and ill-conceived arguments for what they were.

And I find it curious as to why your own condescending treatment of people who liked Begins by implying they are ignorant of the art of cinema simply because they don't have pretentiously sophisticated tas

My point however, is the practicality of the bike, a carapace of armour, to protect the rider more and the vital area's of the engine also.

If you hadn't indulged so much in your girlish sensitivities, you would have realized that I am not objecting to your opinion of certain aspects of TDK, but rather the shameless recycling of the same tired old points in a forum they don't belong in, points that were more than adequately refuted earlier.

I mean, have some dignity and at least stop lying to yourself. I know there are people who think that Nolan isn't the genius mastermind revolutionary some people hail him to be, but in all fairness he is still a very talented and respected filmmaker by all accounts in the moviemaking industry, both arthouse and commercial. Accusing him of using gimmicks in his films only shows how downright illiterate you are yourself on the subject, considering the fact that the unconventional structure of his films (particularly Memento and The Prestige) is a deliberate choice and actually have a purpose, such as the reverse narration being used as a device for the audience to empathize with Leonard's condition in that they too don't know what happened before and are just as confused he is while in The Prestige, it's clearly utilized as a method of misdirection to keep viewers off balance which too is very much in keeping with the central theme of the film.

This, alongside many other arguments, have been dealt with in greater detail before, and I find it a rather incorrigible exercise on your part for needlessly repeating the same old drivel again.

sorry guys but that thing just doesn't look the least bit practical, ergonomic or like it would handle worth a flip. can you imagine hitting a bump in the road and having that pad knock the breath out of you? or worse catch you in the nads?
and forget riding it in the rain.
Sorry Nolan this is your worst concept yet.

Just say you don't like the look of it, someones going to be driving it around Chicago at high-speed so it can't be that impractical.

Sure it can. You have to assume that this thing was built to drive on more than just dry even pavement. Or I do. The whole idea behind Nolan's Batverse is that it is semi-believable. Oh sure the glider cape pretty much pushes the envelope but now we're supposed to believe he would build something this useless? Put some fenders on it for cripe's sake. If you were to try to ride it in the rain you'd drown. the water from the front tire would nail you right in the face,,along with any other debris (rocks) that might get caught in the tread and slung out.

You could look at it like that, but if you did the whole of Begins would fall apart at the seams. Joker chase on a dry day = problem solved. I wonder how the driver will have eye protection while wearing the suit in real life? Contacts maybe

I don't know. It's as ugly as the Batmobile.

(Why does Batman need a batcycle? Does this mean he'll be having all those fancy pancy gadgets too? Batantisharkspray, anyone?)

So in other words were're heading down the path of the shumaker universe again?

Okay another troll.

WHAT???Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! I cant believe it. This is outrageous. This isn't in line with a realistic vision. Nolan what the hell are you thinking.
