The Dark Knight Rises Batgirl/Barbara Gordon casting

If the next Batman movie is in fact going to be Yearne, I do think they should include Barbara Gordon within the film and eventually make Year:Three sort of like Batgirl's introduction (and a proper not some feeble Batman and Robin nonsense! )

It would be intresting to explore Babs' fascination with Batman and how it was first sparked when he first arrived in Gotham.

Idealistically Babs charecter is someone 16-20 years old so any actress between 17-25 could pull off the role

I think Jordana Brewster is a good choice. Although, how good would she look with red hair? Ashley Scott would have been a good choice, had she not been Huntress.

Natalie Portman is a consideration, but after Star Wars she probably like "Small role my A**!!!, I had to put up with for one stupid trilogy, I want my shine in all the movies now!!"

Sarah Michelle Gellar would probably make the best looking Batgirl because for all intents and purposes her big eyes, small chin and round face looks exactly like the animated cartoon character. However I do like Eliza Dushku.

Well, at least you didn't bring in a fat blond. But, i didn't care for any of the options.
Ashley scott is actually the best I saw, but, isn't really a choice at all. Jessica Beil??! I think not.

I love "Buffy" but I am still so pissed at SMG for leaving and therfore ending the best show on TV that I wish her miserable failure after miserable failure....
