Batman and Harley Quinn - Based on Original Story by Bruce Timm

They also need to sink at least a little bit of money into these, the animation in all of them looks so cheap.

WB probably assumed it wouldn't make a lot of money no matter how good it looked so they felt they didn't need to go nuts with the budget.

I'm late...as usual... but I... liked it.

Now it was no Mask of the Phantasm, Return of the Joker, or even Sub-Zero

Maybe it would be in the tier of Mystery of the Batwoman (even going as far as the replacement voices being cool for the characters, but not being as great as the original cast [Penguin, Harley, Ivy])

I will say that I did find the finale pretty weak though. I was thinking this would have been Ivy's final falling out with Harley which leads to her ultimately going back to "Mistah J". Heck I was hoping for Ivy to be more villainous and detached as Floronic Man was. It's been a problem I've had with comics in general...or at least the Bat-books (female villains start to become more sympathetic as they become more popular in comparison to their male counterparts who can remain monsters).

Got around to seeing this... wasn't feeling it.

Finally watched this movie and I did not care for it at all. I'm just looking forward to the Death and Return of Superman. However I am hoping that one day they decide to do Smallville Season 11 as well as some of the abandon DC movie scripts.

They really should do Justice League Mortal and Superman Lives. But they should pump some money into those

Melissa Raunch has GOT to be the worst voice actress for Harley of all time.

This movie was terrible and an insult to the DCAU.

I'm scared to watch this, unless it's with an 8th of weed and like a 5th of vodka... Or Four Loko or something....

Yeah definitely didn't like Melissa Rauch as Harley Quinn. I like Rauch, but i think she was over-selling and overdoing all her lines.

I enjoyed seeing the return of the Timm-verse art style. Some of the humor landed well IMHO and some of it did not. The ending didn't work for me though.

Nice movie, one of the funniest about Batman., where (in my opinion) no Batman plays a major role. The film brought a lot to the character Harley Quinn, insulated her image. There are a lot of funny scenes in the movie and it is stuffed with sexuality. I've seen better Bats animations , but the movie has its own style.
In my opinion only for tolerant bat fans

So I'm guessing that this movie takes place after the flashback in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.
Or maybe I'm just guessing wrong, and this movie has zero to do with the cannon, though it celebrates 25 years of B:TAS.

Barbara Gordon staes in ROTJ that they ''never found her body... but I doubt she'd be starting trouble now''.

That implies that the bat-family had no contact with Harley after those events.

Although Timm did state you can slot it in anywhere after TNBA, but before Batman Beyond.

That flashback fits this description, BB starts with a 50/60 years old Bruce Wayne.

Have seen this, can confirm it's an absolute ****ing turd.

I'll tell you where it belongs ; nowhere. Absolutely nowhere , unless it's in a ****ing toilet. Retconning tf out of this thing in my head.

I'm definitely treating this as an Elseworld story.

It had its moments, I thought. There were a couple of rather forced fart jokes, but the execution was okay. It was a decent "day in the life of Harley Quinn, Nightwing and Batman" type story.

Not feeling the ending. So they
horribly murdered Jason Woodrue with fire?

Watched this for the first time last night. For the first 30 mins or so I really enjoyed it - then it started to nosedive...

... I think if Batman wasn't in it, it would have been a much better movie. A lot of the batman/nightwing scenes were so cringeworthy.

I agree with this. I love Harley's solo comics and would have enjoyed this far more if it had been a Harley solo adventure. Batman and Nightwing didn't belong in this for me. They jarred with the kind of humour on offer.

Story was ok. Voicing was good, even Rauch. Just didnt enjoy it like I feel like i could have. Probably not re watchable to be honest.

I thought the voice cast were all good, really liked Rauch's take on Harley - I hope she gets another shot at it. Like you I can't see myself rewatching this. Well maybe that Superbabes (man I wish we had one of those near me! :hmr:) scene and the alley fight.

Melissa Rauch already has quite the potential to take over the role if they're willing to phase out Tara.

Definitely. I like Tara but if she's not available I'd be happy hearing Melissa do it again.

Nice to see those BTAS designs again but I felt they were wasted here. As a Harley solo I'd probably have loved it (fart jokes and all!) although it would still have needed a better ending [BLACKOUT]I saw Swamp Thing coming a mile off, what with his earlier set-up - and it was completely pointless. And setting Jason Woodrue on fire?? [/BLACKOUT]. As it was, overall I give it 6/10 for a good first half-hour, good voice acting, and some stuff that did make me laugh.

I finally watched this and I loved it. It was just so much damn fun. 8/10

I enjoyed it, but I don't know how good it was.. The part of me that finds the Harley character sexy was into it, but man it's REALLY fan service-y and clearly made for those purposes in my opinion.

I don’t foresee myself watching it again tbh but I really enjoyed it. Think I just enjoyed that it was fun and quite different.

If they ever do a revival of BTAS, they need to give Dini all the creative control

This might have been slightly better received had they not used the actual Timm/TNBA style.
