A few shots in some scenes in this game reminded me of Clooney.

Isn't that why Schumacher chose Clooney?

And fiunally got the Batman skins. Wished we had Movie Pack......

CBR's Robot 6 is reporting that due to the success of Batman: Arkham City (and Mortal Kombat to an extent) that Warner Bros. Interactive is telling their studios to focus less on movie tie-ins and more on producing good games.

There's something horribly off about that sentence. Focus on producing...good games?

That would be great if it's legit but why the hell wasn't that the focus from the get go? I understand it's about making money but did it really take actually getting a couple great games out for them to realize quality is better then quantity.

I'd assume that they'd have known that after the release of Arkham Asylum.

Yeah I read this a few days ago. This is something they should have been doing long before Rocksteady introduced such a winning formula.

Either way better late than never I suppose. I also hope this ideology so to speak spreads to other studios in charge of SH properties.

Which is Activision and Sega.....yea i doubt thats happening. Its definitely NOT happening with Activision.

i agree, most movie games are rushed and suck by the time they come out
(i'm looking at you sega)
the characters from both marvel and dc have such interesting villians that could lend themselves to kickass games. the arkham series has shown it is possible

Ha.

Okay guys, new mandate. Let's make good games. That's the new focus.

****in' aye, really?

I really don't understand why Sega is always the company that's brought up when people talk about bad movie tie-in games. Any company has and will continue to produce bad games when production is rushed like it is for movie games.

Obviously they do care. Did you not see, they want to focus on making good games.

i only brought sega up because the last 3 movie games i played were all produced by sega,

Iron man 2 (had the right idea but lacked the potential it could've had"
Thor: a bad clone of god of war
captain america: alright in its own way but it felt like arkham asylum if rocksteady put half the effort into it

sega aren't the only offenders but still, to have 3 in a row is pretty bad

lol the capt America game was good a game the video game industry recognizes it as "sega's" none fail comic video game in years. and that's saying alot. it was made in Vancouver too unlike the others prior.

Wb has confirmed that Arkham World was just good fun

So I just got through all of Catwoman's combat/predator challenges, and I was excited to move onto the Campaign challenges when I realized........they're the exact same challenges, just grouped together. Lame as balls. I was looking forward to something a little different, not the exact same things that already made me want to hurl a brick through my TV.

They're not just grouped together, they come with handicap pre-requisites. Changes the gameplay up a lot, especially in the extreme maps.
