I know their evacuation reasoning, but I’ve warmed to the no civilians on the streets thing. It’s reminiscent of Batman Returns, like a form of expressionism. Like people being so afraid of stepping outside, except for the crazies and this one man who stands up to them.

Yep exactly.

I really don't understand people's obsession with populated streets in these games. Not once in the 2 open city games have I once given two hoots about citizens not being present. What exactly would you have said citizens do anyway?

It's also a game and has technical limitations that a film doesn't have to contend with. Too often I hear people complain that a game should have this or that feature, well there's probably a good reason said feature isn't a part of said game and that's probably because it's freakin' hard to do. People have to be grateful for what they are getting and cut games some slack. I genuinely don't know how lack of citizens walking around doing not much can bug anyone to be honest, like who cares?

If there were people in the streets people would be *****ing that too many people were in the streets messing up their Batmobile parts. I'd put money on it that random citizens would be most people's #1 complaint. Not now because people have yet to play the game.. but if the streets had Gothamites all around people would be annoyed with it when they played it.

The gameplay was perfect. I want nothing else from Rocksteady.. they've already made the perfect Batman game now in my eyes.

Again another person who nailed it. Bingo.

well the only publisher pushing/ exploring large populations in games is ubisoft (assassins creed )as I'm seeing on twitch right now. and they said something about a new engine.

I watched the Play Station Gameplay Video. I caught two Easter Eggs: in the scene where Batman engages with the AK's remote controlled tanks, you can see Anarchy graffiti on the wall, as well as Harold's Repair Shop on the right side.

Absolutely love it, probably my favourite update of a villains look in the series so far.

That thing with the broken image (Scarecrow's gas effect taking us to the first cinematic with Joker & Batman positions reversed) made me first think Arkham Asylum was broken, this time I'm ready, this time it won't take me by surprise
