Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 4

No not really. I disliked it. First off, 3 PRISON BREAKS IN ONE NIGHT??!! Second I hated and I mean hated the Joker twist. I was sold on Black Mask hiring assassins but then we had to have Joker in it. I liked the Joker parts but still hated the twist. Third the assassins. I was expecting assassins to come at you but some like Shiva & Deadshot only on the side. Meanwhile Croc, who isn't even an assassin, gets taken out. Deathstroke gets taken out which is just wrong. Sorry no. Noob Batman could never take out Deathstroke. Boss was great but no. Deathstroke once fought the entire Justice League and won.

The story was decent but City was better IMO. The stuff in City was Strange and Ra's, Joker, Penguin, and Freeze were great. At the end of Origins, Joker is the only villain who doesn't look like a complete joke.

Whatever Deathstroke did in an old comic story is irrelevant. Batman comics have multiple versions and stories of most of the characters. The Arkham games are just another story. Deathstroke may have beat all the Justice League in that one comic run, but in the Arkham Storyline Deathstroke got his ass handed to him by a young capable Batman.

As was previously mentioned, Identity Crises was a complete sham. Just look at the picture: on a good day, Deathstroke is nothing more than a one-eyed, evil Captain America. And yet here we see several heroes, the least of whom could give Cap a hard time, struggling to subdue Slade.
NO.
Other forums have "Rumbles" boards, in which matchups are judged based on past feats. Identity Crises is not allowed as a feat for Deathstroke, under the "Spider-Man Vs. Firelord" rule, which states that a feat that never should have happened, didn't. Dickstroke the Overrated does not win against the JLA.

Anyone in UK who's visiting the EGX London and can get us insights on what's being presented?

Well considering Captain America is a total BA and has done some pretty amazing things I think that it's pretty cool that Deathstroke is portrayed this way.

If that bothers you, then your eyes are weak and pathetic. Ocular orbs of such inferior quality have no place in this new world!!!
I know, right? Writing in different font and color is the coolest thing EVAAAAAA! Get your eyes checked, Kane!

Damn I could just watch this all day. It's so goddamn beautiful.

Does anybody think Azreal from AC could be the Arkham Knight?
Jean-Paul Valley?

You have to admit, there's a pretty strong resemblance. Even the goals of each villain are similar. Both want to be the next Batman.
And the way Azreal was going on in AC, could there be a connection?

Granted the Azreal in AC was Michael Lane, but there might be a connection.

I still think Damien is the most likely candidate.

Maybe it's Ra's Al Ghul came back to finish Bruce and Gotham once for all or Azreal is really Arkham Knight working with Scarecrow. Mine is a wild guess.

Stopped following news about this for a while.
Are they still holding up to Arkham Knight being a new character?
Dear lord, I hope not.
I'm with you.

He could be Jean-Paul, in Michael's suit.

At this point, anything's possible.

As long as he is not upstaged by the Joker, I'm happy.

Could very well be. This Azreal is confident in Batman's succession and in it, he promises that events will follow that will destroy Arkham, Gotham and Batman.
And the Arkham Knight is determined to destroy the Arkham inmates and destroy Batman once and for all. But this contradicts the prophecy made by Azreal, because the Knight either wants to replace Batman or make him completely obsolete, not destroy Gotham.

Perhaps Azreal will return in just a side mission?

And anything is possible.
I just find the connection between the AK's look and motives to be a little too similar to JPV.

Perhaps Lane knows of JPV's plan or just the Arkham Knight and that's why he warned Batman in AC.

The cult Lane works for, used to be a faction of the Knights Templar and their mission in history was to clear out the Holy Land in a brutal fashion.

The Arkham Knight could have a connection to the Order of St. Dumas.

Just a theory.

I really don't think the Arkham Knight will end up being a pre-existing character at all. There was all this backstory of Arkham Asylum in the in-game files you unlocked through the series. I'm sure it's going to be someone connected to the estate in the past. Or the son of some early patron there or something.

Azrael from Arkham City was MICHAEL LANE not Jean Paul Valley. He also did not appear to be an enemy of Batman. He was there to warn him.

I rather it be somebody Batman knows, as opposed to it being a stranger.

I mean if Steve Ditko had his own way back in the day, the Green Goblin would've been a much less interesting and anti-climatic character.

Arkham Knight WILL NOT be a pre exsistant character in any batman lore. This has been reported and confirmed several times. So the Jean Paul Valley theory belongs in the garbage, lol.

I'd personally love it though.

Arkham Knight is Bruce Wayne's clone! :b
