So batman akrham city got a 96 metacritic score on ps3 and 94 on xbox 360. Batmah akrham asylum got a 91 on ps3 and a 92 on xbox 360. Batman arkham orgins only got a 76 on ps3 and a 74 on xbox 360 but the game was said to be very glich. I had like now glich witch is good but odd and the game was said to be to much like city witch is true. Now with those scores in mind what score do you think knight will get? Any changes it could get a perfect 100? I am going to say 99 on ps4 and 98 on xbox1 has i think the game is going to be a lot better then a already great city.:woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

ever heard of punctuation?

Amazon.fr still have the collector edition with the bat statue on preorder. They never got the batmobile edition though. I'm not sure they will.

I went back and took out some of the and. I also added some more periods hope that makes it better to read. Amazon.com had both the batmobile edition and the statue but the batmobile was out after like 2 days. I would like to get the batmobile has I already have the statue form city so I would like to get that instead of another statue. I don't know if amazon is going to get any more of the batmobile ones though and I don't know if it is really worth an extra 100. I was weighting to see if the price for the batmoblie would go down before it came out. I went ahead and order the statue has I don't want to miss out if it sales out to.

I guess they should get some more batmobile before jun. when you think about it, they still have 9 months before release day. I have to say, the batman statue looks gorgeous imo, and really different from the one from arkham city.

Score wise, and considering rocksteady is taking some extra time, i'm sure the game will flawless, at least when it comes to its graphics, artistic direction and technic. It will probably get very high rating. I hope they will give us a great story this time though. Maybe they took some cues from origins in that regard.

I really like the look of AK batmobile myself.

Its head-on view is a thing of beauty.

If Arkham City is any indication, there won't really be a main story, merely a juicy premise that precedes 6 hours of fetch quests before a hasty villain reveal that adds nothing to the plot on account of him being killed in the exact same cutscene in which he's introduced.

So hopefully it's a bit more like Asylum I guess.

I thought citys story was great.

How long do you guys think the main story will be?

While I would say that all the arkham games including orgins took me about 12 hours to beat so I will say the same. I love games to be very long has I find that once you beat a game they are a lot less fun to play but 12 hours is no issues because to get all the collectables and everything takes a long long time plus challenge mode is addective to play. I still haven't done ever thing in orgins and I have probly played 100+ hours.

I wasn't a fan of the whole
"You're poisoned and only have a few hours to find the cure" angle.
That was so clichéd. The game could've done without that.

I've found all the Arkham games annoyingly short. Same for the side quests. After one completion I could probably get through them in hours. Asylum felt quite long but they may be because it was the first game. But City and Origins took probably two or three days to finish and not even constantly played.

And I'm not someone who likes long games. Assassins Creed 1 and 2 and GTA 5 are IMO farrrr too long. So it's not like I'm yearning for Batman GTA style.

It's not just story I'm wondering about, it's the side stories. Those were some of my favorite things about the last 3 games, hell, in most video games.

Arkham Asylum had no side stories. Arkham Origins had the best main story by far. City's was the weakest. It's basically chasing a cure.

Agreed. You have that really interesting premise, and a great Hugo strange, only to discover they are nothing more than an afterthought.

Eh, I thought AC's story was great. The ending in particular in the Monarch theater was gripping. The Joker twist, the Clayface surprise, Talia, etc was great. I guess I'm one of the few who liked the cure stuff...having Batman's fate tied with the Joker's was fun.

Having said that, Two-Face and Hugo Strange were huge disappointments....

The actual AC storyline was great...the Joker bits at the end ruined it, though.

Origins had the most interesting story for me. Followed by Asylum then City. I hate games when it basically tells you how long you have left. And for City Dr Strange counts down his goddamn Protocol 10 thing so it was basically "oh now I know I have so and so missions left". And plus if felt like it was after every mission so it felt sooo short.

Dont get me wrong City is still a great game with wonderful moments but it didn't exactly tell a breathtaking story. Like others said after an amazing opening it does descend into a "chase the cure around the city which conveniently involves meeting every supervillain in the process". Asylum had the same issue where the story was just made to fit into all the locations on the island rather than flow naturally but it was done a lot better IMO.

I imagine Knight won't be all that different seeing as they're going out with the classic "find the bombs and deactivate or removing them out of the city" plot.

The game will still be spectacular no doubt but it's sticking to the tried and true.

That's how all the games have been. In fact, that's how most videogames play out, unless you have a true sandbox type game.

No not really. I disliked it. First off, 3 PRISON BREAKS IN ONE NIGHT??!! Second I hated and I mean hated the Joker twist. I was sold on Black Mask hiring assassins but then we had to have Joker in it. I liked the Joker parts but still hated the twist. Third the assassins. I was expecting assassins to come at you but some like Shiva & Deadshot only on the side. Meanwhile Croc, who isn't even an assassin, gets taken out. Deathstroke gets taken out which is just wrong. Sorry no. Noob Batman could never take out Deathstroke. Boss was great but no. Deathstroke once fought the entire Justice League and won.

The story was decent but City was better IMO. The stuff in City was Strange and Ra's, Joker, Penguin, and Freeze were great. At the end of Origins, Joker is the only villain who doesn't look like a complete joke.

You can't use Identity Crisis Deathstroke as an example. He was given god-mod status basically during that fight. He's good, but he's not untouchable or unbeatable.

Identity Crisis is garbage for a lot of reasons, but the scene where Deathstroke beats up the whole entire Justice League all by himself is where it crosses over from infuriating self-parody to hilarious self-parody. It’s so fanfic that I’m surprised Goku didn’t show up to get stabbed at the end while the guys from Supernatural made out in the background.

The above article highlights some of the problems I have with IC Deathstroke, and why I am happy with his depiction in AO.

Well then I can't use IC but the fact remains.

I'm suppose to believe a noob level Batman can beat a Deathstroke who looks to already be at his best?

I wouldn't have minded it if it was like Arrow and Batman tied up Deathstroke in a way Slade couldn't get out but he knocked Deathstroke out cold and it was just disappointing.
