Batman: Arkham Knight

Oh well, I've been looking at the wrong picture then. I didn't even see that one lol. Yeah, that's the Inc suit, the gray cowl makes it obvious. Keaton's suits are pitch black.

EDIT: Well, actually, the bat symbol is a tad funky looking. Hmm.

Yeah, the 70's one you're thinking about is here next to the TV show skin, and wow, I think that Dark Knight one might really be the movie one.

Yeah, it looks like total ****, so it probably is.

:funny: I was gonna make a joke like that, but I held back :hehe:

And yes, never been a fan of that suit, period. I'd be alright with the Begins suit but why did they need to do that one. :barf:

I like the unmasked Bruce Wayne one, too. Really interested to see the Alex Ross skin.

Does this mean other characters will be playable in free-roam?

So this is how I would rank the arkham games in different things.

Story
1. Knight- loved the way joker was used and the story was just brilliant and man the end was just WOW!

2. City

3. Origins - Very underrated game but the story is way way overrated. I hated the way joker was black mask. It was the only time I fell like he was overused in a arkham game and I found that very predictable. While in knight I did start to think I new who arkham knight was but not in till like 60% in the story where origins I basically new the joker black mask thing like 10% of the way in to the story.

4. Asylum - The story is just to simple compared to the rest.

Gameplay

1. City

2. Origins - I had like no glitches even though ever one else did. So to me it was basically city all over again only city was smooth 100% of the time where origins like 10-15% of the time would slow down to like 15 FPS.

3. Knight - This could be higher but the game had like zero real boss fights. With all the talk about fights at least the other 3 games still had boss fights this game basically had none and batmobil is cool but over used. If the game had some really boss fights it would be maybe my favorite. Also not having challenge maps hurt a lot because that is like 60% of the replay value in these games. If the game had real boss fights and challenge mode it would be my favorite over all and game play wise.

4. Asylum - Even though it is still good it is almost hard to play because of how much smaller then the other games it is and not having things like double counters, beat down ect.

Soundtrack

1. City

2. Origins - I loved the Christmases kind of sound it had in the game but I like city over all by a hair more.

3. Asylum

4. Knight - not bad but just not has good has the other 3. All 4 have great soundtracks.

Boss fights

1. City

2. Origins

3. Asylum

4. Knight

Over all

1. City

2. Origins

3. Knight- Kind of like I already said no real boss fights and no challenge mode. With challenge mode this would go up to 2 I think

4. Asylum- Like I said such a smaller game and less to do in combat makes a big difference and no side missions to makes the replay value much much lower.

All in all this franchise is like one of my favorite video game franchise off all time behind like only Zelda.

I dunno, it kinda looks like the one you unlock in Origins for completing all the challenges. Though the tagline would means it's the Nolan films one. That, or we're being trolled.

Sigh...I'm never getting that Batman Begins skin. But I'd gladly take any Keaton and Bale suit. Btw, if that is the Keaton batsuit...it's gotta be the Batman Returns suit, right? The symbol in the yellow oval seems more like Batman Returns, with the '89 Batsuit having a weirder Bat symbol.

One of the goons said "The only thing missing is if that freak from Metropolis flew in here." Nice

Also got a "Rather be here than in Keystone, at least you see the bat coming"

Has any one seen this in the game?

I didn't see this one but I did see one some where else and thought it was odd. The one I found I think I tried to blow the wall up and I think nothing happened. I wonder how many there are in the game didn't know there where more then 1 in till I saw this and saw it wasn't the one I found before.

Pretty sure I've seen something like that yeah, can't remember where though, but I know it was during my search for riddles and such.

I think I saw that odd batman behond looking thing when I was doing the jack rider side mission and was just like what. That is why I was wondering if any one else saw it.

What happens to Jack Ryder at the end of the game? I didn't see him again after the Blackfire mission and Scarecrow's assault on the GCPD.

I've had to use YouTube as well now. A lot of them aren't on my map.
And I actually acquired all of the Arkham City trophies, and Asylum too. I'm fluctuating back and forth between Knight and Origins at the moment. My PS4 is one room and the PS3 in another. But I've found I'm a lot more lazy than I was back before 2013, because I simply can't keep up with all these trophy, files and relays :p

Have you been interrogating Riddler's goons?

I keep reading that the reveal of Arkham Knight's identity was disappointing.

How would you guys like it if he was a completely original character? Inside and out of the suit?

[BLACKOUT]Maybe if they hadn't played it as a reveal and a mystery it could have been better, but they constantly throw who it is in your face and toss in a flashback hallucination, which was well done but his existence comes completely out of left field and there's no weight to the reveal. One of the things that makes the Under the Red Hood story work is that we know who Jason is. We know what he's like. Here we don't know enough about Jason as a character prior to becoming the Arkham Knight or even that he exists prior to this game (out of continuity references in challenge maps don't count), leaving the twist obvious and unimpactful. [/BLACKOUT]

So what's that black suit with the yellow oval? Doesn't look like Batman Inc.

I' am on to The Riddler's last race track and I don't really care for it at all.

Playing this game, 99% of the time you'd never realize it was meant to be set on Halloween night. The only time you get reminded that it is Halloween is when you hear one of the street thugs mention it, or you come across one of the two or three pieces of small Halloween decor around the city.

Rocksteady need to make an update that includes at least a couple of Smashing Pumpkins!

Anybody get that reference? :o

Agreed - I was expecting a big twist - originally when I started playing I thought it might have been oracle instead - AK looked robotic in nature, she'd have access too all bruces stuff, had previous training, saw the sympathy batman had for the joker..even with her getting paralyzed, I thought it would have been a pretty sweet twist, it could have explained her "[BLACKOUT]death by being fake[/BLACKOUT], would have felt like his one big ally REALLY screwed him over, i know it would have been over the top, but I kind of wanted them to have some kind of crazy story line for this game.

Did anyone notice there's a section of Gotham called Otisburg? A reference to the first Superman movie.

From the very start of the game, I thought Jason Todd was an obvious suspect but I just never believed that Arkham knight and Red Hood could be the same character. Even after they show the Jason Todd flashback, right up to the moment of the reveal, I never believed that they were actually going to make Arkham Knight the Red hood under a different name. I just never considered the possibility that the writers would even want to do something like that. And then when I saw who he was, all I could say was 'really?'.
Now in retrospect it's completely obvious with the Redhood DLC pack, which I got. They were even handing out 'Under the red hood' blurays with a preorder of Arkham City all the way back in 2011.
