Batman: Arkham Knight

Superman would be a much more appropriate tank boss than them two IMO. If there was a character born to be a tank boss it is him :o.

Practically anyone would be more appropriate for a tank battle instead of Deathstroke. One of DC's most skilled fighters...Cloudburst reskin and one punch.

Let's not forget adding more tanks to that bomb removal on the lower level of whatever island, it was just far too easy.

Yeah 50 tanks wasn't nearly enough. We should be talking triple digits at least. And more bomb removal missions, too. Just love hearing Alfred saying tanks are incoming.

But Superman makes even less sense for a tank battle than AK or Deathstroke, because well he's Superman. If he needs a tank to fight Batman then something is seriously wrong. It should be the other way around.

I think this Thread pretty much guaranteed that I won't get Arkham Knight, unless I can get the Complete Edition for 20 bucks.

Even the scarecrow nightmare missions involved the Batmobile and fighting drones and tanks. Really missed the Asylum nightmare stuff.

At least you know what to expect when you do get it. Be worse having big expectations and then having them dashed by the lack of boss battles, sub par story, over abundance of militia rubbish, excessive Batmobile usage etc.

A really tough and long Asylum like nightmare sequence should have been the final boss fight for this game.

Never once got repetitive.

This was easily one of the biggest missed opportunities. The Asylum fear toxin scenes are some of the highlights of the series. The last big one in this game is great, but there should have been more in the vein of Asylum's. Really take advantage of the new resources at their disposal for them.

I agree, although I am happy he was in the game. I am happy that he is being used a lot these days in Tv shows, animated movies and games (there is talk of him being in the live action movies too).

This game was ridiculous when it came to tank battles though. Some of them were ok but they were really tedious a lot of the time. If there was a Superman boss battle it wouldn't surprise me if it was in a tank (well, not really but you know what I mean. Tank battles were this games answer to everything).

Would've been awesome. I did enjoy the stuff at the end. But yes they could've made a really cool boss battle out of it.

Dropped the ball big time with Scarecrow as the big bad and it taking place on Halloween night. Noble did a fantastic job, and scarecrows look was badass. But they could've done so so so much more like we keep saying.

My thoughts too.

BB suit > TDK suit in my book, but to each their own I guess.

It wasn't even a close vote. TDK suit won by a landslide. I thought there would be more of a division. But no. Was a very pleasant surprise.

The stuff at the end was just one big cut scene, with a part where you have to control the Joker (and it's not even a challenging part because you can't die).

No I know, I still liked it though. But I also wish it had a boss battle added to it.

They should have taken a page from AO's book with the boss battles. They were great. Even their own Mr. Freeze fight in AC shows what they can do when they put their minds to it.

Exactly.

The Season of Infamy is Rocksteady's chance to redeem themselves. If they drop the ball on those, then they have become another clone of Bungie.

The Season of Infamy better be like the greatest DLC ever.

If we get boss battles and no Batmobile for each villain, then Rocksteady will redeem themselves especially if we get a badass boss battle with Prometheus.

I was talking about the game proper, not DLC. DLC is after the fact
lol the funny thingis when I made the post I remember having the intention ofsayin it wasn't in the base game bit it after the fact but some how I forgot .

The streets are saying that the Nightwing DLC is around 1 GB is size.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family 3.2 GB
Harley Quinn Story Pack 1.1 GB
Red Hood Story Pack 909 MB

:fst:

edit: ...or maybe that's just a patch. Mystery and intrigue! Find out tomorrow! :awesome:

This. x100

I am growing tied of the glitches in Knight...this game freezes waay more than the occasional glitch in Origins while using the batwing for fast travel. I was playing New Game Plus last night and in the tank battle with Ivy's plants in the cemetery I got black screen freeze, and have turned the console off repeatedly but cannot return to the main menu. Seems perma-stuck on black screen.

In other news, I am 94% complete my story on the original game. I've done everything 100% except I can't beat the 3rd Riddler race. I hate these damn Batmobile races and tank battles.

That's one thing I never came across in Knight, I was glitch free. Same in origins except for the one batwing glitch and that was all.

I've only had a couple of glitches. The funniest one was when the Batmobile sank into the road and I couldn't move.

I never experienced glitches when playing Origins or Knight -- at least none that affected gameplay.

Only glitch I had in Knight was invisible Barbara when I brought her to the GCPD. And that only happened once. Didn't happen again when I did new game plus or my third play through.

As for Origins, the only problem I had was some lag once and a while.
