Batman: Arkham Knight

Only glitch I had in Knight was invisible Barbara when I brought her to the GCPD. And that only happened once. Didn't happen again when I did new game plus or my third play through.

As for Origins, the only problem I had was some lag once and a while.

hahaha...that happened to me as well. that was a big WTF moment for me.

i've actually experience more glitches with Arkham Knight than with Origins

I had bigger glitches in Origins then Knight. Knight freezes a lot when I play for too long but that's always common. Origins had a glitch right after I beat Deathstroke for the first time meaning I had to refight him. Plus the damn WBID took me 3 hours to get in before playing the game.

Side note: Why couldn't we see more of this Nightwing from Rocksteady? Ending to story DLC but Nightwing is written perfect with how he gets Penguin to come out.

Haha, that was good. Too bad the DLC itself seems like one of those 10-15 minute ones.

SO apparently GCPD Lockdown is only about twenty minutes at best. Pathetic.

At least there's always A Cold, Cold Heart.

I saw that it was $1.99 (Canadian), and I wasn't too optimistic about the length. That's the same cost as the Red Hood pack. I'll still pick it up, because it sounds like I'll enjoy it even if it is short.

You know I like Rocksteady having story DLCs for the side characters. We have story DLC for Red Hood, Harley, Batgirl, Nightwing and soon Catwoman. November will obviously have Robin or Azrael DLC.

The problem is these stories are too damn short. Instead of 15 minutes, why not at least a hour for each? I'm sure there's more you could have done.

Season of Infamy better be ****ing awesome.

Also anyone know when the Scarecrow Nightmare Missions (which should have taken place while you were in the cloudburst gas) comes on Xbox?

Yeah, the issue I have is that they're just short entries rather than something you can get into for a minute. If everything was along the lines of the Batgirl pack, I'd be giddy.

For the price, they're right on point, particularly since you'll be able to access Red Hood, Harley and Babs in challenge maps... but come on, let's amp it up. I imagine the upcoming Catwoman pack will be the same.

Is there still a chance for Arkham Knight to do a PC release when everything's fixed? If so, when?

Even though I was disappointed with the minimal presence of Halloween imagery and Scarecrow Gothic-horror surrealism, I did enjoy how they presented the fear gas (with the Joker as Batman's joint Virgil and manifestation of Batman's subconscious anxieties.) Normally, I am part of the camp that complains about the over-saturation of the Joker (he's DC's Wolverine, in that regard,) but, I thought they used him well in conjunction with the Scarecrow. Seriously, the dialogue was great: the content was awful but one could not help but grin.

I disappointed to hear about the GCPD lockout, but not surprised. Here's to hoping the Season of Infamy delivers...

It just makes no sense why they're making such short "story" DLC. Especially now that you have the power of the next Gen. Batgirl DLC was a step in the right direction after the Harley and Red Hood. And now it seems they took a step back again with Nightwing and with Catwoman most likely as well. Season of Infamy is their chance to try and redeem themselves a bit.

Cash in? The stupid SP was a cash grab that they fluffed up.. When backlash hit they "expanded" on it and tricked the majority of us.. As of now I'll never buy a SP from Rocksteady or WB games again.

It's cheaper to make and people will pay for it regardless of its quality. I think that's honestly about the truth of it.

I didn't need explanations guys I know the explanations haha. When I say it makes no sense I'm not saying I don't understand why. I'm more just baffled and annoyed by it haha.

I'm just all discombobulated with all this non sense haha. I have the season pass so it's like I might as well download the DLC cause I payed for it. But I haven't even played the tumbler stuff yet and haven't done any of the crime fighter packs.

Rocksteady is marching towards becoming Bungie. Quite simple.

It's sad, as they used to be one of the best and most reliable studios in the business. Thank God for CD Projekt Red, the one developer who treats gamers/customers well.

Me too. Despite having the Arkham Knight and Joker in the game, Scarecrow still shone and nobody overshadowed him. He was the best villain in the game. As a Scarecrow fan, where do you rank Arkham Knights version in your favourite interpretations of the character? Personally Arkham Knight's is my favourite version of the character and I have liked lots of different interpretations of the character over the years (including Cillian Murphy's version of the character who you have as your avatar).

You keep blaming Rocksteady, but we really don't know if it's them or WB. I mean, either way, is it that new? The DLC for all the Arkham games so far have been subpar outside a few exceptions.

1. Arkham Knight's
2. Jeffrey Combs' from TAS
3. Cillian Murphy's
4. AA

so what is the Season of Infamy supposed to be about?

I don't think we actually know yet. The only description of it is this, I think:

  • Batman will go against "legendary super-villains invading Gotham City with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features."
Took that from wiki. Not sure if there's been anything else said, though.

thanks.

that does sound a bit more substantial.

and that's included in the season pass?

Scarecrow was great, but the competition wasn't exactly stiff. Who stood a chance of overshadowing him when the bulk of the great villains were reduced to side missions? The only other good villain who had a substantial role in the story was Ivy. Arkham Knight was a bore of a character.

So much for the whole villains working together to take down Batman.
