Batman: Arkham Knight

Man, I really need to get that 1 missing trophy from Asylum soon.

Yes! So damn excited for this. AA was in desperate need of a remaster. Can't wait to go back and replay two of my favorite games of all-time. Hopefully they give them a good upgrade with new content and don't half-a$$ it.

I don't expect them to look as good ass Arkham Knight, in terms of the looks of the characters, but I hope everything else shows an improvement.

Oh, and Photo Mode! I hope they add that.

I think they should've included Arkham Origins in this collection too, but oh well.

Damn them for not including Origins. 2nd best in the series IMO.

Also when they heck are they going to announce a GOTY for AK?

Let them actually claim it was GOTY, first. It was a powerhouse of a game, but I wouldn't call it GOTY.

I doubt there's any new content and I don't like the Origins omission... but I've just gotten too damn lazy to bother turning on my PS3. I mean, that's just sad. It's one friggin button. I may be in on this just for the convenience.

Oh, I'm also spoiled by the graphics upgrade on PS4. :o

If there isnt a huge upgrade or new content I may skip this solely on principle. Not happy this doesnt include Origins.

Its a remaster. Other than packaging all DLC, they rarely add new content. The most you can hope for is some art gallery and photo mode on PS4

The one that could've really done with a remaster was Origins. The chance to really polish it and put it up there with AA & AC... what a piss take.

You, sir, undoubtedly take the trophy for laziest man :p

I dont even play Arkham Asylum much. Of all the games it gets the least replay.

60fps mighy get me to upgrade, but probably not day one.

I can't do the remasters because there isn't enough nostalgia in the world to make me revisit previous Arkham Games. The gameplay in AK is like filet mignon so I can't go back to steak no matter much better they present it. Now if they could apply AK game mechanics to all the previous games that works but that's more than the paint job I expect.

I prefer the gameplay in the old gmaes. AK got overly complicated for me. Way too many mechanics and button combinations to memorize

Asylum is the only one that seems a bit primitive gameplay wise compared to the others. There's so much more variety with fight moves and gadgets in the sequels.

I hardly ever use gadgets and fancy moves during a fight.

It's like going from an Iphome 6 to a 3. I just can't do it anymore. Now if they can put AA on a tablet that will be worth it.

you kind of have. The combat in the games are like a puzzle and they throw enemies at you that can be handled in only one way, which requires you to learn and use the gadgets and skills presented to you in order to progress

I think I can wait on this until Black Friday or so. Arkham Knight really was the cherry on top for me with how it brought everything together in one package along with the Batmobile. Maybe down the line, sure. Cool for those new to the series though

AK definitely got complicated. No matter how good I might be at them, the system is so complicated at this point that there's too many issues that sneak through like directional/priority aiming with takedowns and button combos that trigger gadgets when you didn't mean to. The last time I did combat challenges for someone there must have been some new patch that screwed up priority aiming because I kept losing my combo off BS situations. Was able to make some extra PSN $ though at least since I've had a few people ask me to do certain challenges for them through their account :hehe: :tmm:

The description says we're getting all DLC's plus additional content. So I guess we're getting new stuff.

Also wondering who made this. No mention of Rocksteady or WBM.

And I hope they include the Batmobile. Tank battle against Warden Sharp :)

Additional content? Hmm, maybe soundtracks or something. Maybe some additionals skins spread out between the 2 or something. I don't think AA had any skins at all.

I'm hoping they keep developing Seasons of Infamy. Just little stories that pit Bats against 4 villains

sucks the remaster collection won't include Origins. :(

The only difference is the number of combos and types of moves and refined animation. The button layout is hardly any different so its not as big of a change as you seem to think. Seems like you are remembering it being a lot more different than it actually is. How long has it been since you played AA and AC?

Ive never been forced to use a gadget against thugs in any of the games. The electro baton guys and car door shield guys require a different approach but I didnt have to use a gadget or special multi button combo move on them.
