Batman: Arkham Knight

In a way I'm kind of glad since AO was not being included. It should be all or nothing.

Oh well, Maybe at least the rumors about WBM annoying a new game at E3 will be true as that should be a fun time too.

So much potential of what their next game could be, If it's another Batman then as I've said before..I personally hope it's a brand new game universe so they can do their own stuff or maybe it can be in the same universe as a prequel or sequel but in a whole new story arc away from the Arkham title just like any comic story that is related to an old story but don't always have the same titles

This got me thinking, and the only really good boss battle I could remember was Freeze in City.

Love that Freeze Battle. My favorite boss battles of the series would be as follows.

Origins:

Firefly
Deathstroke
Bane (the fight on the roof)
Freeze (DLC)

Asylum:

Poison Ivy

City:

Freeze

And although not really boss fights I loved the Scarecrow stuff in Asylum and the Mad Hatter stuff in City. Hell, throw Copperhead from Origins in there too.

Origins gets crapped on a lot for reasons unknown but i honestly think it's the best game story wise and best executed boss fights

Origins has the best writing of all of the Arkham games.

It is sad that it is being overlooked, but, hopefully with the backwards compatible initiative, WB Montreal will bundle it in with their next DC game.

It didn't have a polished launch with crashes and framerate issues that took a few patches to fix, the gameplay didn't give us anything new but the story is the best as mentioned previously.

Still, the launch had a herd behavior with "no Rocksteady, no quality!" and that is why Origins gets passed a lot.

I still am amazed I experienced no glitches with Origins except for one minor one with the audio syncing with the Batwing and that only happened to me a few times. That was it.

I had issues with Origins, but it was around the same time that I noticed my PS3 Blu-ray drive was malfunctioning, since it would freeze on other games as well. When I played it on my friend's PS3 though, I didn't really have any issues.

Origins may not have given us a ton of new gameplay but it gave us a cool new weapon and the csi investigation aspect, Which was brought back for AK but still done better in AO.

Some new great moves and the bat cave so we could switch suits without having to go to the main menu as well.

Not just was the story the best but the characterizations too

The Dark Knight Challenges in AO were handled extremely bad I thought. Having to do them in story mode, and not challenge maps was awful.

I also never experienced any real glitches, and I got the game at launch.

AO is still my fav of the games. Has the great gameplay of AC. The crime scene investigation technique was a cool addition, and really emphasized Batman's detective side. It was awesome to get to go to the real Batcave, which looked terrific, and get to interact with Alfred in person. I love the heavy snow blizzard and Christmas setting/atmosphere. The writing and characterizations were terrific. A Cold, Cold Heart is easily the best of the DLCs.

I commend Rocksteady for fully acknowledging AO as canon in AK.

Couldn't have said it better myself

My only question is what the hell are they waiting for to announce them?

Are they already made?

I was confused at that survey when WB asked fans if they wanted to see remasters.

Yes, they're supposed to be coming out next month. Which is strange why they haven't announced them yet.

I do find it ironic how much flak people give WBM for Origins, when they managed to do villains like Bane and Deathstroke justice compared to how Rocksteady handled them. I mean, Slade's appearance in Knight was just insulting.

This is one of the reasons why I'd like for them to make another prequel game that features Harvey Dent's transformation into Two-Face. They could probably do a much better job handling Two-Face than Rocksteady did.

Yeah, I legit enjoy the Rocksteady games, but they really didn't handle a lot of the villains well outside Joker, Harley and Scarecrow. The Arkham games became too much of Joker jack off fests, too. As fun as some of the Joker stuff was in Knight, I really wish they would've dropped him from it. It was obviously just a cheap way for them to insert Joker into the Arkham stuff after they killed him in the last one. I wish they would've just squeezed their balls and let the other villains have their full spotlight and kept Joker gone.

Joker in AK could have been a dlc story
