Batman: Arkham Knight

Jeez, I'm doing cleanup work on Achievements for Arkham Knight right now. Some of them aren't going to be a problem, like wrapping up all of the Batgirl DLC achievements. And then there's the gliding under all of Gotham's bridges, and even the consecutive perfect shots in Battlemode.

But, holy **** are some of the final DLC achievements brutal. I just got the "Chill in the Air" achievement, which meant completing the Crime Alley map as Batman, Robin, and Nightwing without being hit once. That was tougher than I thought it'd be.

But, "The Curtain Fall" achievement...is just nuts. Complete the Monarch Theater map as Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman with a perfect freeflow in all four rounds. I have Arkham Knight on both PS4 and XB1, and I'm not sure 100% trophies and achievements will be possible without sacrificing my sanity.

**** that.

Requiem For A Killer was the worst of the bunch for me to get - but I will tell my grand-kids one day "I got all the trophies on Arkham Knight's community challenge maps"

Oh man, the Requiem for a Killer trophy/achievement might be the worst one. I need to score a little over a million points during combat in the Iceberg Lounge. So far, I've only topped out at a half that. I went on a 200x combo run...and still couldn't reach more than that.

Rocksteady are ****ing monsters. Some of these are just unbelievable. I mean, look at that. Requiem for a Killer, The Chill in the Air, and The Curtain Falls all have 0.1% completion. Eternal, which I got already on XB1, felt like child's play compared to the others.

Here I was thinking I could make a run of 100% trophies and achievements on both XB1 and PS4. Getting those achievements once, let alone twice, sounds...I realize I sound crazy even thinking of it.

Haha I'm barely doing the initial trophy round-up before new game +.

This entire franchise is on sale on PSN, I picked up Arkham Origins Blackgate for PS3 for 10. Game's actually a lot better than it really should be.

I skipped that game when it was released again for consoles but liked the idea of it. I'd check it out for 10 bucks!

Cold Cold Heart is AWESOME. Easily the best DLC of the Arkham games. It's like a mini game in itself, with a great story and lots of fun gameplay.

I highly recommend Cold, Cold heart as well. A wonderful origin tale for Freeze, one of my favorite Bat rogues. I just started season of infamy as I got the AK season pass on sale for ten bucks last night. It's basically adds four most wanted missions to the main game. I haven't played the rest of the DLC yet, but I'm looking forward to going through it. Also I'm loving the TDK and B89 skins.

Thanks for the feedback guys, picked up the season passes for both games

I really enjoyed those. Cold, Cold, Heart was great. It's funny, too, looking back and seeing that Origins was the only one that gave us the Batcave and a long, good, look at Wayne Manor.

Season of Infamy was fun, too. Only one of the missions had Batmobile combat, and it was just for the final part of that mission. The rest were pretty much story focused, and seemed like Rocksteady had heard loud and clear to lean more into that and less on the Batmobile.

So my PS3 quit reading discs :( Wound up buying Origins digitally so I could play this stuff.

New Batman game will be announced/revealed at E3. Please be Arkham, please be Arkham.

Ya know, looking back at the rumors of Arkham Insurgency, I find it to be more likely than than the Damian Wayne game.

I would hope they don't call it Arkham Insurgency.

One would think that Christopher Nolan showed us all that the title doesn't even need to have 'Batman' in it for everyone to know that whatever Batman thing it is, people will know. It needing to have 'Arkham' in the title seems like them just being superstitious or something.

I actually hope it's the Insurgency rumor, too. I'd still be in for a Damien Wayne game. But, WB Montreal showed me they know how to tell a good story and do the characters, all of them and not just Batman, justice. Having them tell us a story with Batman and Robin...and having the opportunity to keep the Batmobile without having battlemode? That sounds like there's alot of chances to fix the mistakes that Arkham Knight made. And I loved Arkham Knight. I'd even pay again to drive the different Batmobile skins, too.

I'd really rather not have a Damian Wayne game. I want a sequel to AO. Badly.

I don't want a Damian Wayne game. Insurgency sounded like a dream game come true, that's definitely what I'm hoping for.

I also hope this is a AO sequel. A sequel centering on Dick's first missions as Robin as well as Dent's transformation into Two Face would be ace.

See, I would've agreed with everyone about getting an AO sequel with Insurgency. However, the Telltale Batman game pretty much scratched my itch for a Two-Face origin in video game form and it'll be hard to match. Not to mention most of what I've heard about it sounded like a massive rehash of the other games, and it didn't look appealing.

I'm still iffy on a few things regarding the supposed Damian Wayne game, but it honestly sounds like the more innovative and daring of the two. The use of the nemesis system sounds badass. I could see WB Montreal pulling it off.

Whatever happened to that March 8th announcement? Was that for another game or did WB Montreal just delay whatever it was they were going to announce?
