I just finally read the first three issues, really good.

I like them bringing him into the DC Universe. It is way better than Damien being the new Batman for the future.

The art is beautiful, too...

I agree, I hope DC retcon this as the main DC universe.

I wasn't a big fan of the series. However I don't think this mini does much justice to it either. It's supposed to represent that the Timm verse is part of the multiverse. So it's cool to see the DCAU being mixed up with some DCU elements. However it's just not consistent with the series, in terms of characterization and tone. I don't know it's just been somewhat of a chore to read.

Is this series considered cannon? Sometimes it seems like it is, but now that Hush's identity has been revealed, I'm not so sure. Has Terry McGuines's Batman become cannon in the regular comic universe?
