It never ceases to amaze me how differing peoples perceptions of who would make a good Batman... or other heroes... can be.
Half the actors mentioned here are smaller than my six year old son - this is Batman we're talking about, the guy's human so has had to become a specimen of physical perfection to fight crime. Now I know the actor chose will have a personal trainer whip his ass into shape, but you need something to build upon!
And as for Hiddlestone auditioning for Thor... seriously (Shame he got the Loki part though, cos he'd make a superb Joker IMO)
