people have love for armitage for the role because he checks more boxes then most if not all of these guys not named fassbender. he has the height, the voice, the look (unless you're going to be that much of stickler about the nose which, honestly, is ridiculous, as someone said before, this isn't cyrano de Bergerac ) looks the right age (mid 30's early 40's) and is a part of a WB tentpole in the hobbit which has wrapped.


that's why people like him.

I like Witwer's build and he has a good look about him but I'm not familiar with his work and I can't figure out what the heck is up with that smirking thing he does in almost every pic!

He does dark, brooding and angry pretty well in Being Human. He also has the kind of voice you look for in a Bruce Wayne. He's also a voice actor so I think he could come up with a decent Batman voice.

For me I can care less how a person is in real life. Brolin included. They're playing a character, their personal life means nothing.

Also, the nose thing is stupid. No studio or director will be like "this guy has everything, but I don't know about that nose man! just for that, he cant be the guy...next!" That's just ridiculous talk.

I don't think Bale is pretentious. He wouldn't have played Batman if he was or John Connor. He commits and he expects same level of professionalism from his colleagues even from a journalist that is going to interview him. Being pretentious is something that bothers me with certain people but wanting to be a serious actor and not a joke isn't really pretending.

I agree on the younger batman but tyler is just too young imo. And his acting skills are pretty mediocre.

he doesn't look his age though. the question with him is the talent, cause the guy has a great look for bruce. if he was as talented as he is good looking, he'd be a dude version of jen lawrence.
