Batman:Dead End

While I liked the visual look of the DE costume, one thing that bugged me was that they portrayed Batman as slipping some cloth over his body.

Even the Batman in the comics doesn't do that anymore, he wears some kind of body armor under his suit. Really, I think when DE showed that, they hurt the comic accurate Batsuit argument for the real movies, because he actually was just wearing spandex, and that's one of the main criticisms of the comic Batsuit look.

it isn't really spandex it's a kind of "comic book cloth".

"Roboter suits" suck.

I dislike the Robot looking suits as well, but I also dislike that DE portrayed Batman as wearing only cloth. As I said above, even in the comics he wears some kind of light body armor under the cloth. I hated the scene where the predator slices his stomach and you see skin underneath. He should armor himself in some way.

That's what I would like in an ideal world in the Batman movies. Either that, or if Nolan had just slimmed down the BB suit and darkened the Batsymbol on the chest, I think that would have made a sweet Batman costume.

Collora's film did show that a comic-looking suit could be visually interesting though.
