Batman discussion thread.

Then you'd read the first page and realize it was a really lame story that idiots will probably bow down to in worship, and then you'd spend the $2.99 on a comic that didn't actually suck instead.

Fortunately, it was Morrison, so it was quite good.

... I was just commenting on how someone might make an issue that does not occur in chronological order, but whatever. That's cool, too.

How 'bout them Mets?

Hey nice cover to the upcoming Detective, Bianchi. I bet Bats has always wanted to see someone else unload a cumshot on Robin.

I hate Bianchi.

Wow..............um....ewww. That was.......wow.....expressive.*vomits*

I kinda wish....I never read that.:csad::csad::csad:

I have to say that Batman #663 was not what I expected. When I opened the comic I was like, "Holy ****?!?! What the **** happened???" The artwork was **** and the panels were replaced with blocks of text, BUT then I actually read it and I have to say I was really impressed. The mood of the story was great and exceptionally dark (that's the only stuff I think Grant Morrison should be allowed to do IMO). Kudos to Grant for coming up with something different from the usual.

It looks like bats is laughing about it too.

Nice utility belt, too. It sucks.

That goo isn't even whiteish-blue in the issue. It's light brown.

What's up with Tec comics covers being black and whiteis for the past....howeverlong it's been?

the bianchi ones are probably black and white because it takes him so long to draw them that they don't have time to color them. that or maybe they just like the black and white look. it fits batman.

It's just the look Bianchi choose to do with the covers. He has implied elements of color, at times, and it really looks great; very stark against the black and white.

Why Because, y'know, in comics, some artists are chosen to do the covers for a particular title for months at a time. For Batman for a while it was Matt Wagner, then Jock. For Detective at the moment, it's Bianchi. Bianci's been doing the covers for, wow, about 10 months now.
