What do you think of this upcoming project with Bruce Wayne going around the world training various new Batmen?

I think that it sounds very interesting and I'll give it a shot because Grant Morrison has been writing an awesome Batman. Have they announced who is doing the artwork on it yet?

I don't know. I haven't heard too much about it neither but I'm also interested in it's concept as well. I wonder how Dick Grayson and Tommy Elliot will come into play with this.Rumor has it that Dick may be the Batman for the Justice League for one and I can't help to think that DC might try to turn Tommy Elliot/Hush into a Batman for a while.

Man, DC are bringing out too many Bat-books with too many characters... the November solicts are ridiculous.

Is it Bruce, Is it Dick, Is it someone else under the cowl... and now with Batman INC. we are going to be treated to a team of Batmen?

I'll buy this book for one reason: Grant Morrison, but I hope he knows what hes doing and is ending his run soon...

Otherwise, were going to be left with a mess of a character and the bat-books will need to be streamlined.

What? This is about him training other people to become Batman...?

I was looking forward but that sounds meh to me.

"Featuring art by the remarkable Yanick Paquette (SEVEN SOLDIERS: BULLETEER)"

Sweet I enjoy Yanick Paquette's artwork so it sounds like I will definitely be giving it a try with some great eye candy. Depending on how things go after The Return of Bruce Wayne stuff I will have to see which Bat-books are going to be the "in continuity" stuff. I don't want to get bogged down with too many Bat-books. The Peter Tomasi/Patrick Gleason book sounds like I may have to get because their run on Green Lantern Corps was AMAZING! :wow:

GM:
Oh, God, um, OK: Catwoman and Batman doing "Mission: Impossible" hanging upside-down, sneaking into Sivana's lair to steal one of his super weapons. And Batman on top of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, in the daytime. That will be the first time we see him in the new Batman costume, and it's in the daytime in Dubai. I've just found since the very beginning that it was best to put him in situations where he's not normally comfortable. That's where I've found the really interesting story potential.

Seems to me Catwoman might join the Inc aswell.

IDK how i feel about this. Guess i'll just have to wait and see

I hate Grant morrison as a writer but the idea is actually one I have been thinking about since Batman Begins in which creating a league of batman would actually be something that would happen since he learned from a league of ninjas.

This series also seems sort of like a more "Batman-centric" as opposed to a more broader "DC-centric" version of the old Brave and the Bold books to me.

Too soon to tell whether or not I'll be too interested in this series but I'm hoping for the best. It potentially sounds like it'll start off pretty good at least.

I like Dick as Batman for the League, he deserves to be part of it with the big guns, and I can see this working if the other Batmen are localized in other cities (one per country) and had their own takes on the "Batman" brand.

I agree on both accounts. Specifically with Dick Grayson being that he has always worked well in the various teams he's been a part of. While his methods may be different than Bruce's, his leadership skills, detective skills and rescourses make his the perfect relacement for his mentor.

I've always thought Dick worked better for the Justice League than Bruce did.

well BATMAN INC is what batman needs...he's human....can't live forever and now that he'll let other pretend to be batman it'll make batman live forever...long after bruce dies...makes sense with all the future batman stories like batman 100 or damien's batman or batman beyond

p.s I love dick as batman and I'm glad he took over....atleast for a awhile

Sounds incredibly corny, like all the rest of Grant Morrison's ideas. :oldrazz:

Not my cup of tea, and frankly a bit illogical for Bruce to do considering his views on things, but I'm sure some people will enjoy it. So more power to them, but pass from me.

I'm excited for this. I'd grown especially tired of all the repetitiveness in the Bat-titles before Grant Morrison started with Batman and Son. I've had enough "grim-dark" Bats to last me awhile. His entire run has just be masterful for me, and Batman, Inc. sounds like a refreshing status quo change.

Sounds like a GL Corp but for Batman......yay morrison you have done it again, you have alienated me further from my fav superhero! I hope somebody is enjoying it though

In lightest day in Darkest night
No crime shall escape my sight
Let those who challenge my might
Beware my Vengence, The Dark Knight!

He did? comic books have NOTHING to do with movies and vice versa. Their not interchangeable despite featuring the same characters on a surface level.

Really? how?!?

Boo Morrison...

He's destroying Batman.

based on the idea of the story, if anyone else were writing it i would be very apprehensive about it. but everything morrison has been doing on batman has been gold. i love it. so i look forward to this.

Yes. By all means, lets get back to Bruce being grim dark fighting nothing but nameless thugs and the same stable of escaped Arkham inmates.

I really fail to see how he's DESTROYING Batman.
