Superman. I bleed blue. Always have, always will. It's easier to accept brooding as being badass and popular, but it takes a real down to Earth man and a sense of character to stand out and be a beacon of hope by developing a voice for all things good in a world where it's so easy to be corrupted and surrounded by sinful actions.
Superman reminds us that a helpful smile or a simple act of kindness separates the popular from the honest. Plus, Superman, as a character, is written to parallel my exact personality and humbling nature as my own person. When I read him, I can't help but relate to the message of treating people the way you want to be treated and bringing out the good in ones personality and never letting the dark and weakness get the better of a situation.
Batman's a more badass character and people seem to go for the edgier bad-boy far too often, but Superman is more extraordinary because most of society sometimes can't stand that moral compass in the room because they know they can't hold a candlelight to the good and feel small in comparison and that's where I think the heart of Superman flourish's. Just my .2cents.
