World Max Fleischer Superman or Bruce Timm Superman, which do you prefer?

I agree as well about that as well, but my point was that Fleischer's Superman has never been done again. It was a very brief and dark and complex character that wasn't even in the books for very long in the 30's and early early 40's before it was changed.

Fleischer Superman all the way. It's timeless and captures the essence of the Superman legend perfectly. The problem with Superman: TAS was that it suffered the middle child syndrome out of all of Bruce Timm's DC Animated universe projects and there were some episodes that didn't portray Superman well.

I also prefer the Filmation New Adventures of Superman and Ruby-Spears Superman series over the Bruce Timm Superman: The Animated Series.

The Fleischer cartoon is so gorgeous. I have to say though, the first ten episodes are way better than the later ones imo. And why didn't they keep his belt?
