i think were done with the batman movies for a moment, we had endless tv cartoons but why not make a live action tv series. But heres the twist, do what they did for superman with smallsvile with batman... have a young bruce wayne slowly become batman through the journey of his life in seasons.

We call it

GOTHAM CITY
-------------

It will be a bit like Smallsvile and Mad Men, smart, suited and sexy.

Essentially the story focuses on a group of co-workers at Wayne Enterprises, (Bruce - the boss, his friend Roman Sionis and member of the bored, vicki vale - his receptionist, selina kyle another business excutive that Bruce is attracted too. We also introduce, Edward Nigma a quirky geeky freind who works in applied science) essentially the series sees Bruce return from a life changing experiance and he starts to see what his business is doing to Gotham and he wants to change it. By inaction, he leads employes, friends and unlreated people into the path of becoming criminals and thus creates the vigilanti batman to invoke fear to stear them away from crime. again it will be a build up series, he wont be batman right away.

I would like to see a series based more on Gotham, the citizens and the police department. There thoughs and views on Batman. Having unknown villains in the series.

If you watch Person of Interest, its pretty much Batman without costumes. So why not do a Batman TV show with costumes?
Person of Interest:
Reese: Bruce Wayne/Batman
Finch: Alfred
Detective Carter: Commissioner Gordon
Detective Fusco: Bullock

On the show Reese walks right into a police station, right up to two cops talking, knocks out one and grabs the other in a hold, while dragging him outside he knocks a few more out. They have him doing very Batman type stuff on that show. And breaking the law to help people, like stealing evidence from a crime scene, breaking into a persons house, framing a bad guy for drugs over seas to get them locked away forever.

And apparently that show is by the writer of the Dark Knight.

There are a few fight scenes in the show trailer here that are a good example.

I just mean put that guy in a Batman costume, and tweak a few small things and it could be a Batman live action series. I think its very possible and should be done.

Ironically I've told all my bat-friends that this is the one medium Batman would totally own.

I've been writting a script, following detectives who are to work with Gordon and obviously find the Batman intriguing and also a problem, ontop covering how Dick Grayson and Bruce's relationship. It would take place after his parent's death, still young while Bruce is getting sucked into being the Batman more and more from Arkham failing to hold it's inmates. The conclusion of the first season would be the moment Dick is revealed that Bruce is Batman. There wouldn't be Robin implications, since I imagine him too young to even be considered to help. I think of it as Joker being always around , plucking crimes here and there but others continuously show up and need immediate attention. The second season would deal with Black Mask and his rise in Gotham.

Does anyone have any concerns with the idea(s)? I imagine the show being on either HBO or AMC. High quality standards like a film. Great budget and a cast that would deliver and make us believe in Batman once nolan's trilogy was finished.
