Batman reboot officially announced?

:whatever:

Yeah, I just completely stopped caring about anything you have to say

That's nice. You even stopped caring so much that your reply is more than this one sentence to me.

Usually the people who bash Aquaman are the same kind of people who bash Supes. They don't know or understand anything about the character. Aquaman is the most powerful member of the JLA behind Supes and he is a total badass. When it comes to being a badass hes probably only behind Batman in that regard. He is a warrior king, the Conan of the DCU.

Go read Geoff Johns' current, amazing run on the character and then get back to me.

I never cared for Aquaman and never will. He just seems like **** to me. If he doesn't have water for such a long time he's useless. Yah, that's just grand :o

...just like every superhero or human?

Not to the Nth degree as it is with Aquaman.
no, but everyone has a weakness

superman-If he's near kryptonite for such a long time he's useless.
wonder woman-If she gets tied up for such a long time she's useless.
green lantern-If he doesn't charge his ring for such a long time he's useless.
batman -If he gets shot or about a million other things he's useless.

you're entirely entitled to your opinion, that's just **** logic is all.

And Aquaman hasn't had that weakness for a while.

So yeah, I'm not sure why we're talking about f***ing Aquaman in here.

I say bring on the Reboot. To quote Adrian Veidt: The Batman will survive. And it deserves more than Nolan has been able to provide :o

And you're entitled to your opinion if you think my logic is jaded, but I sincerely just never, ever cared for Aquaman. And I just don't care for the whole him being so weakened without H20.

While Nolan had provided us an amazing trilogy, I do agree someone can give Batman something else and still be incredible. While maybe not a script with so many real-world levels that TDK/TDKR had, I believe someone can take Batman into a direction that feels more like a comic and show us representation of villains that us fans would love to see on the big screen such as Man Bat or Black Mask or a well done Mr. Freeze. I have hope

And I just don't care for the whole him being so weakened without H20.

Aquaman does FINE outside the water. I don't know WHEN the last time was that he had that weakness but its been years. Your idea of Aquaman probably comes from Super Friends and jokes on Family Guy.

By bashing the character and then going on to make such a blunder of a statement regarding his powers/abilities all you did was prove my point. Most of the people who hate on Superman and Aquaman don't know or understand jack about those characters.

Aquaman can't do ****...that's why he's stuck in the Halls of Justice making everyone else peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

And no, at this moment, I still think Green Lantern doesn't have that much of a crowd that people do care about. But, again, just my opinion on some characters outside of the "Trinity". I still disagree that Warner Brothers should start out with solo films because Warner Brothers could be something different and start off with a JL film. I just don't like the notion that we need to automatically get solo films first; if a script is good enough, a JL film can start it off.
The Justice League work much better by being introduced first, in fact i think that an Avengers film starting without stand alone films of the characters would have worked, just like The Ultimates comics, and adaptation of that would have worked. Justice League doesn't have that luck.

And what the f*** are talking about Aquaman? I didn't know anything about the character before, only heard jokes, then i read the New 52 comics and DAMN, that film has the potencial to be Star Wars underwater, wasting that potencial would be dumb.

And Green Lantern is right now as popular as X-Men was during the 90s, and even like that he doesn't need a crowd of fans to watch the movie, it just has to be good, Iron Man wasn't very popular or known before his film was made, it's not a mather of popularity, it's a mather of making a good film with those characters.

They could make a JL movie first and THEN decide who deserves a solo movie.

Not to sound like a child, but I don't really want to understand anything about Aquaman anyways. Just never cared for him. Not ever.

I feel the opposite. I think while the Avengers needed solo films first to introduce Iron Man and Thor, a JL film could work first as people are aware of half of the more popular Leaguers.

They could make a JL movie first and THEN decide who deserves a solo movie.

Harlan Ellison said it best: “You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.”

They could make a JL movie first and THEN decide who deserves a solo movie.

Blade got a trilogy. The Guardians of the Galaxy are having a movie made. Therefore everyone in the Justice League's big 7 (as well as many others) deserves a movie.

Well Nolan has provided more to him (including the guy in your avy) than any filmmaker to date. So, be prepared for potential disappointment if this did not meet expectations.

Never said he hadn't. And funny you mention my avvy, as if I was being some kind of hypocrite. I love the Nolan movies (mostly the first two) but Batman is a great character who still has a lot of potential.

So, be prepared for potential disappointment if this did not meet expectations.

Thank you, my dear, I will keep that in mind.

That video. Just wow.

I'm with Lix on this. If anyone ever has any doubts about Aquaman, I'll just put up the picture Lix posted.

I believe that Batman (and Batman's world around) still has much potential for more films, especially considering that there are still many elements of Batman's world that hasn't been used yet.

I agreed, but I will admit that first comment did sound like you held some resentment for Nolan's Batman movies.

Even though I think Aquaman has a lot more potential than people let off, I still find that video hilarious.

I'm not against another Batman reboot and I'll probably see it unless it looks horrid. But Nolan I think captured much of his essence in the cinematic form. Plus he used my favorite rogues who translate well, IMO (Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman). It will be very ahrd to surpass.

I agree. It'll be hard but it's not impossible, and as I said, there's other things that can be covered.

I feel like im the only fan in the world that is not excited for a JL film, at all.

Personally, I'd rather just have a World's Finest movie and call it a day.
