Batman & Son, Assault on Arkham announced

Although I better keep dreaming about an animated Nightwing film. :csad:

Watched Assault on Arkham today. I found it fun and entertaining. It was more 'adult' than I expected, particularly Harley and Deadshot's scene together, and the violence doesn't hold back either. I liked the Suicide Squad, and actually found myself on their side for the most part. They drive the film just fine, and I felt there was enough Batman in there. I'd give it 8/10.

So at what point in the Arkhamverse timeline does this film take place?

having Batman & Joker as supporting characters worked very well. despite not being front & center in this film, the scenes they are in are very memorable. Batman had some pretty badass scenes

I'd love to see an animated Nightwing film. It could be refreshing to see some new faces.
I want a Nightwing animated series. I think Nightwing would've been a more appropriate protagonist in that Beware the Batman series.

I watched 'Assault on Arkham' a few hours ago and I don't normally watch any of the animated features, but I enjoyed the hell out of it!

Enjoy is the key word with this one. Just a good time.

A minor nitpick is not having the usual Riddler voice from the games, but I found the replacement adequate. Penguin tucking into raw fish could be seen as a Batman Returns reference too?

Assault on arkham was a ton of fun. The story was simple, but characters interaction were great and so was the action. Jay Oliva is great.

Yeah, the characters provided a strong backbone. The tone was just about perfect. I hope WB Montreal get their Suicide Squad game together.

Or they make a live-action Suicide Squad movie/TV show.

I'm so sick of DC treating Joker like some ghost figure or something. He is human. Start treating him like it.

Me too amd based on Dixon and McDaniel's run with New 52 costume given its true color back rather than the current color that serves as a haunnting reminder of Batman & Robin

They got to make The Killing Joke, Kevin Conroy as Batman & Mark Hamill as Joker asap. It would be so epic to watch on Blu-ray.

I am sick and tired of Joker.

Make a original animated film influence by vengeance of bane and knightfall

You can have Nightwing don the batsuit to take out bane

I enjoyed both movies
Admittedly, the Suicide Squad in Arkham is the one I like more

I want to see another Superman/Batman animated film with Daly and Conroy back voicing the Man Of Steel and the Dark Knight respectively.

I would welcome that... IF it was an original story, as I don't think any of Loeb's other arcs in Superman/Batman were anything to write home about.

This is definitely not a film for kids.

I liked it. The humor was clever instead of corny. The character interactions came off as authentic instead of just a setup for a corny pun like I've seen so many other times.

One thing I appreciated was the violence seemed to have consequences, instead of just being meaningless filler. If they make a sequel to this, I hope they stay consistent with this and [BLACKOUT]make the Joker actually be dead because no man should be able to survive that fall, let alone the subsequent flames.[/BLACKOUT]

He survived worse in the animated show.
