Toon Disney is now running Batman the Animated Series and Superman the Animated Series as part of its JETIX line up.

I just caught On Leather Wings today and am reliving my childhood all over again :hyper:

Yeah, it comes on at 6:30 and again at 11:30 every night.

Already a thread....and I already DVRed all the episodes this week for both shows...

Tonight showed " On Leather Wings" for B:TAS...great ep.

what a great way to screw the people with only basic cable...

:down

I buy the DVD box sets....no commericals, instant accessability, and cool collectability.

True enough, but I enjoy that feeling of just having to wait to tune in to the cartoons, gives me that nostalgia.

I'm not even surprised. My bet that they edit and cut some scenes out for good. Or the dialogue can be changed to make more friendly than more serious.

Thanks goodness, I own them all.

I've been very close to buying the Batman TAS DVD collection in the past. Looking back, it was a good decision to pass on it. I wouldn't have time to watch it anyway..

I've already seen some of them, they're not edited.

I make time to watch them periodically. I need to hurry up and finish buying the collection! I'm only about halfway through getting them all?!

Dude, there not edited at all still got blood and words like DIE that can't be said in other kiddy TV shows...

I caught this by chance when they showed the "Last Son of Krypton" arc of Superman TAS. What a pleasant surprise.

^Off topic, but a press release was just sent out earlier saying that Kids WB is dissolving, and Cartoon Network is slowly going the route of Nick and Disney with live action shows, so it seems that the Warner Bros. don't give a **** about their properties. Big shock.

Batman TAS has got to be one of the best all around cartoon series in history. The writing was so good for a kids show that it holds up, even to today, as i still watch certain eps regularly. I have all 3 seasons on dvd. The 4th season, i wasn't feeling at all-with all the changes they made. But that just proves the old saying true "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Spiderman was o.k. I'm still waiting for them to release the dvds, per season, instead of dumb little collections like theyre doing now. I missed season 5 of Spidey, so i wanted to check that out.

Oh, don't be like that. It's not their properties they don't care about, it's their programming and the viewers. :down

My Batman TAS DVDs are my favorite parts of my DVD collection. I just need to get the Superman and JL sets next.
