Batman: The Telltale Series

I'm excited but hopefully this will lead to them doing other DC characters.

Man imagine a Telltale Justice League game. :hmr:

Between this and WBM doing two DC properties I am happy. I'm set :word:

They should've STARTED with another DC character.

Can you imagine a Question game? Solving mysteries and all that? Or a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle game, where Booster's time travel and character choices can affect the timeline?

a booster gold game would be awesome but knowing DCE they use his son rip for time travel events since he's more the time travel where his dad is more stay in the current event where bat man super man and wonder woman are alive still active. I do like your idea though.

I'd like to see the Question take on the Riddler in the ultimate match of wits.

Because fans have just been dying to play as Bruce Wayne in his day to day life?

I have. The totality of the character is fascinating to me, every aspect. If it was well executed I'd even be down for a game or movie that was only about Bruce Wayne, like a story about his training or something.

But I get where you're coming from with TellTale taking on too much. The four-month wait for the last episode of Game of Thrones was unacceptable, and I've been pretty lenient on them in the past. But they're still putting out good content. I enjoyed GOT and Borderlands is supposed to be great.

They really, really need to update their engine though.

i've only played season 1 of Walking Dead, Back to the Future, and Jurassic Park. they were pretty entertaining. looking forward to see what they do with Batman

speaking of Telltale, how is the Game of Thrones game?

Meh. I played one episode of Game of Thrones and had no real interest to follow it at all.

Am I the only one who had never heard of telltale before this lol. I had no idea who they where or if this may be a game similer to arkham games before people talked about it on the arkham website and kind of describe what they have done.

I enjoy Telltale games, so while not super excited just yet, I'm definitely buying this. The Wolf Among Us is my favorite, so wouldn't mind a Bats game focusing on detective work and maybe even have some noir elements.

But I have to add my two Telltale gripes:
Fix your damn engine!
Hire more people or something so we don't have to wait months between episodes. With Game Of Thrones and Borderlands I had almost forgot what happened in previous episodes when the new one was released.

I think that is the problem that folks have. We have been promised sequels to these games, but instead TT is diverting resources to projects that don't even sound very appealing. I mean, was anyone asking for a Michonne spinoff game? Wolf Among Us season 2 was announced, season 1 ended on an amazing cliffhanger, and contrary to your comment about Borderlands, Wolf Among Us is easily TT's best effort...yet no movement on it. It just gets frustrating.

Since when was The Wolf Among Us season 2 announced? I don't think that ever happened.

Yeah correct me if I'm wrong, but TWAU season 2 was never officially announced...and I just realized that because of Batman there's probably yet another title before The Wolf Among Us season 2. If they are even working on it.

"I'm Batman"
"I'm your worst nightmare"
"I'm the Godamned Batman"
"..."

I wonder if Kevin Conroy will be the voice of Batman in the game?

I cannot find the exact news story or press release but this one talks about its confirmation last year. TellTale confirmed it in passing. They basically said, "it is coming but not until 2016 at the earliest."

2017 for Marvel fans...2016 for DC fans :p

Maybe I'll finally get a Batman game where the cape flows over his shoulders as he walks around like a phantom...Always wanted that for some reason :hmm

Yes. They've been one of the hottest developer to gain popularity in the last 3 years. Where have you been? Never heard of The Walking Dead game? They're style of games is more like Heavy Rain, if you've played that

I love their Walking Dead games, so I am very excited by this news

So another Batman game huh… Ok so who will the villains be this time? Rocksteady did a phenomenal job with Batman in The Arkham Series. Also based on the description does that mean we get to play as Bruce Wayne as well?

Bring on the detective Batman, I could see the Riddler as playing a large role, Batman And Robin hopefully solving some big riddles with plenty of dark twists.

I haven't played any of their previous games, but it sounds like it could be a fun diversion.

Same especially season 1, was amazing. I played 400 days and like episode 1 of season 2 but haven't gotten around to finishing it.

Kdramastars, Lol. Unreliable clickbait at it's finest. It was never confirmed and I don't think it's happening.

Matt is correct, though. I can't dig out a link off-hand either, but Wolf Among Us season 2 has been mentioned in passing by TellTale. Now whether that means it's actually being worked on is up in the air.
