Okay, TAS Batman versus "The Batman's" version of Batman. Two different takes, same character. Who wins in a fight?

To be brutally honest, "The Batman's" version is the better fighter in my eyes. What I saw from him throughout the show made me more impressed with his fighting than in TAS. Although both are incredible fighters, TAS doesn't quite seem on par with TB's version. Now, if we want to talk smarts, TAS is far ahead of TB's.

The Animted Series was so good. I've tried watching "The Batman" a few times but it just irks me. The way they draw the characters, the way they're voiced, etc.

Prime examples are that batman's look in that cartoon makes me wanna pet him like a kitty more than fear him if I were to see him in person, and whoever made the design up for that Joker is just straight up racist.

Racist? I don't even see how you can apply that comment to the situation. In any case, even if you think TB's Batman looks like you'd want to pet him (although that is VERY weird, if you're a dude, which I assume you are), he was still a pretty damn good fighter.

I dunno, it's just a subtle nod to like a rhasta in my opinion with the hair/voice.

and as for the kitty comment, his mask makes him look a lot like my roommate's cat.

It's not racist at all. That version of the Joker was intended to show him as not caring about his appearance. If a person's hair grows long without being groomed properly, they get dreadlocks, which is what happened to Joker. Before the accident his hair was shorter. Nothing racist about it AT ALL.

Mask looks nothing like a cat.

In a fight, The Batman gets disqualified and TAS Batman wins because the offender used way too many insanely contrived batarangs like in the cartoon, like the one in the Riddler episode where it spuns down like a helicopter, magnified to the van roof, became a camera with a live feed and then exploded.

If there are no rules, I say TAS Batman, honestly since the comics Batman admits that mind is over matter, and TAs Batman has that advantage.

You know that there are over 6 billion people on Earth and you can't possibly know what they're all thinking, right? :whatever: :o

and of all those 6 billion you are in the minority of those who love the show enough to name yourself after one of the characters.

take another poll if you want. that show is not very highly regarded by batfans im afraid.

They begin fighting, but they grow quickly tired, and team-up to fight their common enemy: Adam West Batman!

Limited intelligence....

Alucard/Dracula has gone by that name in many incarnations, not just in "The Batman". To be honest, I was more of a Dracula nut but became a bigger Batman fan over the years. Alucard is a name he's used plenty of times. Learn your history, son.

limited intelligence? im not the guy who bought a magnet thinking he was getting batman#1 for 2 bucks!:hehe:

and i am well aware of dracula's history thank you, son.

and none of this changes the fact that most bat fans do not care for that ill concieved show.

Hey its Batman.. i like them both... maybe i like The Batman just a pinch more because

A- its the only Batman cartoon on for me to watch rite now
B- iys kinda grown on me since its the only Batman cartoon to watch rite now

Lmao

i think most ppl are in love with TAS because we grew up with it after Burton stopped makin Batmovies thats all we had and it was good! dealt with lots of continuity... one thing i disliked was how some episodes were drawn dead on almost japanimated perfect style animation with nice coloring.. other times the art sucked... like Mask of the Phantasm... No good art in that movie at all!!
uhhhh and i really Fk'n hate that yellow oval on any incarnation of Batman.. im sorry but corny... (IMO)

Did this guy really just say Mask of the Phantasm had sucky art? Okay, let's see you draw better, because I know you can't.

Yes, from being sleep deprived. Many people make mistakes when they haven't been sleep, and it wasn't for 2 bucks, so I suggest you learn that 2 and 4 aren't the same number. And many people have made mistakes, I even laughed at myself when I reread what it was, so trying to use that as an insult won't help you, it just makes you look pathetic.

Obviously not, if you think I chose this name only because of "The Batman". I know a hell of a lot about a lot of characters, so stop your petty assumptions.

You're not inside the head of all the Batman fans, okay? More than likely this is the only forum you visit. I have visited many many forums over the years, a lot of which who loved "The Batman" or enjoyed it because it's a new take on things. So please, spare me that crap of trying to say what everyone thinks when you are only liable to tell what you think. Don't speak for others, boy.

TAS Batman wins that show was the best Batman cartoon ever, it's hard to replace something like that.

I meant in a fight, not which show was better.

Nobody would win, both went to abroad to learn martial arts and other fights and both very equal. I prefer TAS if I had to choose.

I just kinda think TB's Batman was a better fighter, it seemed that way to me. He was pretty quick, and was incredibly strong and resilent. However, so was TAS Batman. I guess you could say in the end it could potentially be a stalemate.

As far as both shows are concerned, I don't think they can really be compared. Both are great in their own way, you know? The animated series focused on Batman being a detective and having Batman be a very dark and brooding character. His villains also pointed more toward realism and what not, and that's why that series is so classic. With "The Batman," they did something new, and even said themselves they didn't want to copy what was done with TAS. What they did was take on Batman in a more fantastical way and a different way, not making him as dark, but still be brooding and mysterious. Both series offer a lot, so I think it's kind of futile to just put one down and say the other is so much awesome when both are so different and are really meant to be different.
