I'm working on a Batman Beyond movie script, Yea I know what you guys are thinking WB will never make this happened but hey who knows dreams do come true especialy if you work hard for it anyways here's my story outline treatment tell me what you guys think positive or negative opinions is always welcome because I can take the negative opinions and put it into consideration.
The movie will be much darker and grittier then what we seen back in 1999 when they aired Batman Beyond the series in kids wb. The concept of the movie will be "Redemption" although the main character of the film is Terry Mcginnus, Bruce Wayne is the secondary main character of the film the movie will feature 1 villain which is Derek Powers/Blight. In the beggining of the film Bruce Wayne is happy he is now happily married to Selena Kyle/CatWoman. Bruce Wayne has had heart problems but he never told Selena Kyle. A nemesis (well known character in the comics) of Selena comes to pay her a visit and eventually ends up killing her in front of her newly husband Bruce Wayne this drives Bruce Wayne to the edge so Bruce let's his inner demon unleashed and ends up avenging Selena's death. Leaving Bruce Wayne feeling guilty that he couldn't save her because of his heart problem. This leads Bruce Wayne to retire the mantle of the bat. 40years later a crime driven futureristic gotham city with red skies covering the atmosphere is letting it's dark and criminal infested city known for the audience. We first meet Terry Mcginnis being released from Juvenile Detention Center as soon as he gets out he gets into a fight with one the jokerz and ends up beatin the gang member badly. Terry is a highly skilled fighter but not skilled enough to become Batman yet, Bruce Wayne and Terry Mcginnus first encounter each other in a gotham cemetery where Bruce is visiting Selena Kyle's grave which is next to his parent's grave. Through out the movie there will only be a couple flashback sequence explaining and eloborating on Terry's behavior and why Terry Mcginnus got locked up. We do get to see Bruce Wayne in the Batman Beyond costume of course. The script will consist of these 3 elements: SUBSTANCE, ACTION, and EMOTION.
In terms of the action the fighting will be very simular to the bourne identity with the quickness of Batman Begins the fighting will be brutal yet theatrical and entertaining to see, think of the bourne identity combined with blade 2 it will be simular to that. The movie will have plenty of action sequence the final fight will be exactly 24minutes long and will take place throughout Gotham City and it will end up in the cemetery. My vision for blight's transformation; think of human torch from the fantastic four movie only with green fire and black skeleton for the inside with green firery eyes. I will exploit all of Batman's abilitie and there will be a cameo from a future Batman Beyond villain. The action I consider would be revolutionary and entertaining as for the suit I wanted the suit to be made out of leather not black shiny leather but just regular leather and the red bat symbol made out of cotton, with the utility belt being made out of metal. This is a serious film of a kid's cartoon, this film will feel like "the crow" and "underworld" in terms of visualization, huge futureristic sky scrapers with a gothic feel to it. The violence will be high as well although I am looking for a rated PG 13 film in my version of Batman Beyond, Blight curses at batman he tells Batmans "Come on BatB****" The final fight will go out with a bang and alot of questions will be answered in terms of what happened to the original Batman's rouge gallery of crazies. There will be plenty of enemies Batman will fight but the one who will give him the most trouble is of course "Blight". There will be a major plot-twist that will get people think "Danm I didn't saw that coming" and of course it will have alot of jokes and inside jokes. Batman will face; Mr.fix, Jokerz, G.C.P.D., and Wayne Industries security guard members.
