Has Batman ever faced off against Daredevil in a crossover? Who do you think would win? I would think Daredevil would have a slight advantage since he has heightened senses, but I suppose it would depend on the writer.

Also, I do remember the Amalgam crossover where Bullseye ended up in the Batcave and Batman was able to dodge one of his shots. But I don't think that necessarily means Batman would defeat DD.

Ahhhh, a fight between my two favorite characters.

Initially, I think the fight would be pretty even, but sooner or later Bats' would get the advantage. There's just no matching his cunning and savagery.

Batman would figure out he's blind pretty quick, he'll use that against him. though Daredevil will also know about all the little tricks in the utility belt as well

Bullseye did say that Batman hit even harder than Daredevil. But that doesn't mean anything in a battle between skilled fighters.

As an aside, your user name freaks me out, as my real name is Sam Sneed.

so it is. it didn't load for me when I first viewed the thread which is why I posted mine.

I don't usually like team-up stories, They seem to usually try to shove the characters similarities down our throats.

If i were a betting man, i'd go with Bats...but it wouldnt be easy for him. Thing is, Batman is going to figure out DD is blind in about ten seconds (kind of like he did in those crossovers posted above) and then DD's going to be in big trouble...:word:

So I never read those crossovers... whom did they team up against?

In the first one shown, Daredevil fights the Scarecrow and Batman fights the Kingpin. I bought it on eBay a few years ago.

I never "got" Daredevil
I don't know what it is
well first he seems like a batman rip off
his outfit with horns and being a lawyer/detective type
then he's emotional like crazy....I think he is Bi-Polar
but what really bugs me

He's BLIND!
I know it doesn't matter but come on
lol he's blind
he can't do much
sure he can fight but only if he can "sense" them lol

I dunno I mean I think he's ok but he's not greaT

but then again I never read frank millers Daredevil maybe I'll like him more
because frank can write (even if he's going a bit insane over at all star bATMAN,maybe he's doing it on purpose I dunno)

so Hands Down Batman would take him down
he's smarter and better trained
he's richer (not to be cocky but to have his gadgets)
he's been around longer (daredevil seems he would of started when Batman had robin)
and he can see lol sounds cruel but true

There is a Batman element to his origin, but in no way is he a Batman ripoff. While both dress up and fight crime, what motivates them, their methods and personalities are very different.

DD is definitley emotional (much more so than Batman), yet the dichotomy is what makes him interesting:he is a devout catholic, yet dresses up as a devil. He upholds the law by day , yet breaks it at night.and he's a very passionate man- motivated by his promise to his father- and ultimatley not being able to fulfill that promise..These dynamics make him, in my opinion, a bit more interesting than Batman.

Wow.Go pick up DD:Visionaries vol 2 or DD:Born Again.Let me know if you still feel that way upon reading it.

And his radar sense is always there. So what's your point ?

I dunno I mean I think he's ok but he's not greaT

:whatever:

Miller can definitley write.most of the haters don't like ASB&R beacause they just don't get it.

so Hands Down Batman would take him down

He'd take him.But not hands down.

he's smarter and better trained

Smarter?Yes.Better trained?Maybe- that's debatable.

and he can see lol sounds cruel but true

But DD has the advantage of 'seeing' (with his radar) 360 degrees around him

sorry If I sound like I'm hating on daredevil, I do need to read more on daredevil but I don't think he's so appealing to me but then again I think the same for Aquaman and yet I respect him and happy he's a superhero
He's a lil Ripoff on Batman In my eyes and him being blind but still can sense things just makes me crazy because he can't see but he can see shadows? I dunno
but thank you for agreeing on some points of my opinon

I'll definitely check out DD:Born Again and DD:Visionaries vol 2 and come back and see if I feel the same

Daredevil will also know about all the little tricks in the utility belt as well

Maybe not.Bruce designed most of his stuff to be silent enough to not be heard by Superman and no mater how good DD's hearing is it cant beat Superman's.

Well DD gets the better parking place....

Bruce owens the parking lot and has a private spot.

It's not shadows. It's more like the outline of objects around him.He can see them but he can't see the details.BUT..he can see these outlines 360 degress around his body.

Didn't mean to come across harsh.DD's origin is like an amalgalm of Batman and Spider-Man.He's not an archetype, like those guys.

I'll definitely check out DD:Born Again and DD:Visionaries vol 2 and come back and see if I feel the same.

Let me know.I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how cool and multi layered the character is.As far as I'm concrned he is Miller's character.

And that's all that matters -- in a battle between two evenly skilled warriors, the winner will be the one with the better parking spot.

:batman: Batman :batman:
