It's summertime and I'm back with a few more pages, first up is the Bat/Wolvie fight reloaded, w/ a new page 3 inserted as suggested,

If someone wants to take a shot at inking them for fun or practice, just save the image to your hard drive, the images are quite large (909X1340) but the size is only 266k, because if you wait for me, it would not be until late 2007 early 2008. I only have about 70 pages of the book done and it will probably go into the mid 100's, not exactly sure yet. This is one of the reasons I don't partake in the contests or anything, unless I can use something I already have done that fits into the guidelines. All my free drawing time goes towards this book.
I think it will be my internet legacy, having givin all us fans the chance to see some of the match-ups we always wanted to see, and or see again.

wow are you just doing this for fun or are you going to send it to marvel and dc. Why don't you get a team to help you with the book, Maybe get an inker and a colorist to help you complete it or do you want all the glory for yourself.

I agree. It really is good enough to send it to Marvel and DC; they even might give you a helping hand (imagine Jim Lee inking it)!

When I started this, there was no actually published JLA/Avengers project, so it was to give us the fights we all wanted to see, that we thought we'd never see. Even though I'm not trying to break into the industry, I still love comics, and would be more than willing to let the big 2 do something with it, if not, there's still the internet to share it on, so it will get out there one way or another.

All kidding aside, if Marvel and DC were to give the nod to this story, they probably would insist on a stand-off.
Yes, I remember the Batman/Punisher crossover, where poor Frank Castle got punished by Bats, but Batman and Wolverine are too popular for one to lose the fight.

Now, purely from a business perspective, they would be insane if they didn't see the potential (and probably the money profit) of this story. That's why I'm convinced they WILL give the go ahead, when they see your work.

Hell, they might even ask you to do other crossovers...
Personally, I'd like to see a Batman/Shang Chi fight...

I think there would be too much red tape, this is a small, 5 pages of an overall JLA vs Avengers book that also shows Thor clearly beating WW, and fighting Superman to a physical draw, but getting the victory because he claims the time egg.

I don't mind them changing some things, since I have the original pages as they were first envisioned.

Bats would beat him to a pulp, and Wolvie would decapitate him with only one claw...

And then they'd play soccer with his head...
