His magically conceited mirror, obviously. :o

Bale's Batman voice is completely ******ed. If people won't admit that it's over the top then what the hell is? I think Dark Knight is a masterpiece but Bale's costume and voice stick out like a sore thumb... like a complete goofball in a movie that's way better than he is. His Wayne is awesome tho.

Most fans love Bale's Batman. That is a fact.

?

Most fans love ANYTHING related to Bale or Nolan when it comes to Batman. First off, like Mark Hamill put it, most "die hard" Bat fans think that the only true version of the character is dark and gritty. Second... what do they have in recent years to compare to? Kilmer? Clooney? Put a cult following actor into a cult following character and nobody will admit anything is wrong at all. His voice *****ing SUCKS.

Yeah, TDK it was even more glaringly horrid. At least in BB, there were only a few minor quibbles.

It was most distracting near the end, when he was shouting his lines at Joker and Two-Face, when he could have just as easily said it "normally". Way way way too forced.

I liked it, except when he was saying speeches. Batman should say as less as possible. And speaking in such a raspy voice, I imagine Bale must have been having a hard time, especially having to do so many takes. I remember Andy Serkis saying his voice just caved in 20 takes into his first scene.

On another note, every voice in TAS is perfect.

Bale's Batman voice was awesome as usual. Batman doesn't just talk, or whisper. He growls like the monster that he is ...

as far as live action batmans, Keaton. bale......seriously, at times his voice was almost intolerable.

Maybe when he's trying to scare someone, like in the Flass interrogation. That was great. But to make every single trivial comment with a monstrous growl was on the boundaries of laughability.

It's not like were sheep doomed to go along with the crowd.

I disagree...in fact, going by this thread alone, you'd swear some posters here never liked batman before nolan set his hands on him

keaton's for live action.

i hate bale's batman, it's too forced and over the place...

You typed exactly what I was thining.

Bale tries to hard and sounds like he's got a frog in his throat and his mouth looks ridiculous.

Keaton just nailed it. He was just so badass in every conceivale way as batman. Keaton as batan looked and sounded like a beast.

I can agree with that, I see plenty of bandwagon jumpers all over these boards as of late, and it just gives me a good laugh.

Hardly. He didn't use the growl in his voice for every comment.:whatever:

I was cringing during that last scene with Gordon when he's yelling about "Good" like a pro wrestler. Get Hacksaw Jim Duggan in there!

I'd prefer if this poll were reworded as 'Favorite Batman voice' and not 'Best...' because best is subjective. For me -- Toss up between Keaton and Bale. Conroy is good too, for the cartoon, not for a live action transition.

1. Keaton
2. Bale
3. Conroy
4. Kilmer
5. West

Ditto.
